Did you ever ask Dr. Kramer what he thought about this? When we had our post surgery visit, he showed me how to deflate fully, but I don't recall his saying anything one way or the other as to what my default deflation state should be.

I live quite a ways from Dr Kramer so went to a urologist at a tertiary hospital closer to me for my official inflate and deflate. I had already been inflating and deflating for over a month at that point with Dr Kramer's permission by email. That tertiary doc who is also an implant surgeon said results were great and inflated and deflated to about 90% and said all was good. He laughed at one point because I said I was slightly smaller than preop at 8 weeks out and my wife who is petite liked it smaller. He said that would not be the case for long as I would get back all my size. He was correct. Since then I have seen my in town urologist to follow up on an abnormal PSA. It was the first time I had seen her since the implant, Her office has two doc's not her that do implants and only a few a year. I chose not to go to them. One of them I had seen at her request for injections prior to the implant and he had tried to talk me out of the implant due to the last few he did getting infected ( not a sales pitch for him for sure). Once I made the decision to go to Dr Kramer I called my female PSA doc and she said she didn't do implants so I should see her partner who I saw for injections. He said he wouldn't see me for at least 3 months after the surgery even though I had seen him as a patient before and I offered to pay out of pocket if not covered due to him not doing surgery (global payment issue) and only if no problem just routine. He still said no clearly upset I didn't have surgery with him. When I saw my non implant female urologist for abnormal PSA followup recently she was very surprised I had already had implant and was very upset her partner said no to routine followup and said had I called her back she would have seen me. She wanted to check the implant and said my results were great and that I was smart to go to a high volume doc rather than her partner. When she checked me I was in my usual deflate naturally with only a push downward on the shaft once the penis stops deflating on its own so that penis hangs at 5 o'clock. I don't typically squeeze every bit of fluid out as there are too many wrinkles that aren't as comfortable, I guess the point is she didn't change that or suggest there was an issue not squeezing every last drop out. It is deflated enough to not push penis up or out and tips are not tight to tip. A few times a week I do completely deflate before bed to expand reservoir but at this point that should not be an issue as I fully deflated every day during the first few months and that space should permanently exist now. Bottom line Dr K never commented as he didn't see me in followup and I never asked but last two urologists didn't squeeze out every drop only to flaccid and didn't comment on that. Hard for me to believe there will be erosion with my deflation style given that semirigid implants are still used and with correct sizing don't usually erode. Hope that helps.

I am 4 weeks out and have a semi hard in for the past month. It gets uncomfortable and I'm looking forward when I can totally deflate and hang down. Right now I stand straight out at 3:00 in the shower and have to wear it up in my briefs. According to uro I am almost totally deflated. I hope not cause having a permanent boner was not in the cards. He assured me when we start cycling in another two weeks I will be pleased. I'm optimistic.
