This is true, the only difference now is that my flaccid penis is twice the size of my flaccid Penis pre-op. I do not feel the pump and I am only six weeks post op.

What size was your implant and how long are the RTE?

OK that is making more sense to me now. I just realized that I have the AMS 18 cm with a 3 cm RTE. If your take that RTE off it is really low. Now the Coloplast with out the RTE is just as high was the AMS with a the 3cm RTE

Am I wrong in saying that the AMS will always have some size of a RTE?

21cm with 2 rte's. My pump actually hangs lower than my testicles, so if you cup my scrotum (not that I'd want you too :D ) the first thing you would feel is my pump, it is a third testicle.

I think whats most important and cannot be overemphasized is GET AN EXCELLENT SURGEON and do your homework, ask questions to the point of irritation, cos this is your body and it's a big fucking deal (excuse my french)

INJ1324, That is why I am on here asking them. Until now that I have these implants to study if you ask a question on here the generic answer is "Get a great surgeon" I have a great surgeon but not a high volume surgeon. I want to ask every question possible to him. I am sure that guy that go to one of the high volume doctors really on him to do his work which is great.

Tybeeman, the reason why a high volume surgeon is recommended is because they would have experienced all of the potential issues that could arise with this surgery. Remember this is your penis we are talking about and you don't want to entrust it to someone who only does one or two surgeries a year.

Before my surgery, i paid (average $250) to consult with some of the best surgeons in this field. They all do video conferencing and so you dont have to worry about traveling anywhere and this way you can ask all the questions you want and get an informed answer.

Some of the questions you should bring up are
1. Pain - how much and for how long
2. Glans - what they will be like post surgery
3. length & Girth - what changes to expect
4. sensitivity - will there be any post op

I am sure my other bionic brothers can suggest other questions i may have missed.

Good luck

I never was asked to pay anything to talk with Dr. Kramer and the tis one reason I chose him along with others. I thought I read that Did did charge at the time I was looking and maybe some others. Didn't want to have to pay overtime I had a question.

1 - Pain moderate first 24 hrs. and lessoned every day after. Used Motrin and ice.
2 - The same as before, I still have blood flow into the head every morning as before surgery I did not. Had scar tissue
3 - Length is within maybe .25 from before and girth is excellent
4 - still the same as before surgery.

Read all you can and you will find the answers. Call and speak with Dr. Kramer if needed and as others say, go to one of the top surgeons. This is not for someone who is just getting into the field.
Implanted March 2nd by Dr. Kramer with AMS/LGX. Had a problem lower left (scar tissue) and he placed a larger (thicker) implant as you can here on the YouTube video. Got all back, ED over 10 years before Implant.
