I thought it was a strange post to come here telling us we shouldn't act like implants are end all.

I think the subtitle to the "Implants" section of the forum holds a clue. Implants being called the "final frontier" suggests exhaustion (or at least exploration) of less invasive solutions is a good idea.

I think Rahod1 was merely warning against being influenced unduly by groupthink, not actively discouraging seeking an implant if one is appropriate.

 Rather pessimistic statement isn't it? There are some of us who are very happy with Trimix and have been for years.
I went from pills to Injecting and have been a happy campy camper for some time. Implant is a great option...but not
the only one nor most desirable in some circumstances.

More power to you if those injections are working for you. After my RP, nothing would help me get an erection. I will agree with other post. An implant is the final option. Now a lot of guys do skip the injections. I had no problem sticking a needle in my dick

I had no problem sticking a needle in my dick either but with ever increasing amounts the result had a limited life span not to speak of the scaring issue developing. The number of people who have battled ED for 20 years with complete pharmacological success is a small an limited few. I fought it from 1997 to 2017 on many varied levels wasting a lot of time on forums with others discussing ways to fight it, Thousands if not 10's of thousands on meds, doctors, pumps, constriction rings ( yes they wear out too and I went through MANY). Everyone needs to way the risks and think ahead where their current level of treatment is going to take them and ask themselves what plan or approach they are going to take if it fails. Also ask yourself what level of failure are you willing to accept? Are 8 erections and 2 failures out of 10 good enough for you? Are you fine with an aching dick after injections? Does the stuffy nose from pills bother you? Do you mind or can you afford to pay $7 to $35 per boner? I would be willing to bet most in this forum have gone through several levels of treatment, spent a lot of time and money, have had several if not many disappointing limp dick failures, some failed relationships, low self esteem, and would have taken the shorter course for more effective efficient treatment had they known it existed. I certainly would have as early on in the ED, I damn well could have afforded it and likely paid the price.

Tybeeman, what is your purpose for your question?

I hope it is not to discourage comment from non-implanted men.

Lost Sheep read his post. He came on here knocking us implant guys.

READ MY DAMN POST! Where was I *KNOCKING IMPLANT GUYS*??? As a matter of fact, it seemed to me the original poster was knocking alternative methods (in my case INJECTIONS) as being a DEAD END! That's a rather BOLD claim and THAT"S what I was addressing. I NEVER KNOCKED implants, in fact I acknowledged their efficacy. You're never going to get it.

Dude it is the implant forum, we can knock injections all we want. This is a tough decision for a lot of guys. We here to talk about implants not to tell guy that have come here because everything else has not worked that injection work great. We already know from experience that they don't for us. Sorry you are pissed off. Better to be pissed off than pissed on

rahod1, I can honestly say I am glad your injections work. For most on this implant forum it seems they don't quite do the trick thus the reason they are here. My point is for most of us we are or were beating a dead snake with a stick hoping for a cheap quick fix to bring it to life and all we were doing was damaging the damn thing more. Please stab your dick another time, jerk that boner off and relax a little. Read MANY of the posts here in the implant forum. MANY here are questioning if they are doing the right thing with an implant. MANY here have scarring issues related to using their dick as a pin cushion. I can only pray you are not one who comes back here 3 years from now complaining about your scarred up bent dick that has so much scar tissue that only a skinny implant will fit into. It happens............to a lot of us. Cheers man. Now wank it off and relax. Be glad it works for you. 1/2 the people here can't do that.

Well said, but it's more like 75% of us can't do that.
