I went to the doctor today after a long period of time accepting some "psychological" issue was going on. Doc passed a lot of exams, ecodoppler included, but he believes already that I have a combination of varicocele and something that in my language seems to be the same thing as a venous leak. So... if that's the case, I will already start to move my life in the diretion of an implant, since it's so expensive and definitive, i have to plan ahead. So, I have some questions for you guys.
1 - Is Dr Eid really good? I saw lots of videos, and he transmits a trustable image, that's for sure. Any idea of what's the cost?
2 - He claims that there are no size losses in his surgery. Is it real? I remember a user here, he made a complete follow up of his journey and kind of disappeared after saying his size after surgery went from 5.5 to 4.5. Well, 5.5 is my size, which is already short, so... i can't lose size, this is a major concern.
3 - How can i reach him? Living in Brazil, this a great issue. I mean, i can't call, for example. Also, I don't know what I need to do. like, Will I have to make an appointment for him to say if I'm elegible for the implant, then come back to brazil, than go there again to make exams, then come back to Brazil and then schedule the surgery?

Eid and Kramer are good doctors but of the 52000 implants performed annually, they only do 1800 so the other 50200 are being done by other good doctors. People usually don't take time to go on the internet and post the good stuff but they have no problem what-so-ever posting bad stuff. Therefore, no news is good news. As for costs, $33000 CDN. There will be no size loss IF you do what you are told. ALL OF IT, not just the stuff that's convenient. You are NOT short. The average size is between 5.5" and 6". There is a reason they choose those freaks in the porn flicks and it's not because of their great looks.

Thanks a lot, Larry. Are the CDN Canadian Dollars? maybe I find a good doctor that is not necessarily one of them. My choice for Eid was just because people here talk about him all the time, and he has a youtube channel etc. But not really has to be him. And yeah, in fact you are right, it's not truly small, but the fact is, I'm comfortable with my size right now. But in the case of losing, then i will worry. What about doing what is told me? Does it mean stretching routines and things of the like?

$33000 CDN is $46200 Brazil Real. I was talking about doing what you are told after the surgery.

Yeah, this is real obstacle, can't afford this in a lifetime with my job right now. Things got a little bit harsh now. Don't know what to do.

Canino,

You're right, you can't right now. But there could be other ways to accomplish this.

Do some research on "Crowdfunding"....

There are a lot of people in this world who anonymously provide financial assistance to people in need. Some doctors do pro bono work, maybe. While most people may not consider you in "need", someone may. The challenge is to find those people. You're young and have the internet -- and hence the world -- at your disposal. I don't know how to do it, but somewhere out there is someone who can help you find someone, who can help you find someone, etc. etc.

Reach out to teaching hospitals in Brazil. Maybe they would have some ideas for you. Maybe you could offer to be their poster-child.

My point is, don't give up. Try everything until something works and eventually you'll figure out a way to get this done.

Best wishes,

You should ask in your country, I don't know if it's that much there. I have provincial insurance and didn't pay anything so I don't know exactly how much it is in other places.

Camino,
Another well-known urologist who does many implants is Dr. Edward Karpman in Mountain View, California. He is a very nice man and performed my implant and I have been very happy. He implanted a friend who had three (THREE!!!) failed attempts by another surgeon and he is very happy. The last time I heard, he has an arrangement with the hospital he uses to do the implant for about 18,000 USD total costs (surgeon, hospital, implant). I suggest reaching out to him to see if he has any suggestions. Perhaps the hospital can offer services with no cost. Perhaps he will do it for no cost. Perhaps the implant company (most likely AMS) will donate the implant. You would still need to get here and need a place to recover. If you get that far send me a private message as I may be able to help with lodging and transportation.
I am sixty-six years of age and dealing with gradually worsening ED for twenty years. At sixty-three I wanted something that worked reliably. I got an AMS 700 LGX implant in 6/25/13. I am entirely pleased with the outcome. My surgeon was Dr. Karpman.

JDavid & Canino; Great info in this thread. Basically, for the most part, members on here will support and recommend their doctor. Krammer and Eid do a LOT of implants. It does not mean they are the best, it simply means they are busy and has a huge client base. I implore you to check prices in your country. That $33000 that I mentioned is the fees someone else on here posted. I don't know it it's accurate. There may even be great urologist in Brazil. Do you have medical insurance or do you even need it there?

Have a great day, :D

Hey, everyone!
Larry, Jdavid, thanks a lot for the answers. I'm sorry for being gone for a while, the routine of exams is being hard to handle. I appreciate your answers, and I think you are both right. I'll try my country and Jdavid's doctor. Kramer and Eid have been taking my attention for most of the time, but it's just because of the size thing. I am avoiding doing it in my country because of the lack of information about this specific concern. While you guys have franktalk, i can't reach past clients of the doctors around here, so I cn't have access to honest opinions, my only source is to rely on the doctor's words, something complicated. Now, 18.000 is definetely better. i'll PM you, Jdavid. Now the news.
My ecodoppler is going to happen at 15/09/2017. While I'm waiting, i have initiated a good exercise routine, lots of running, my mind is feeling better. My ex is trying to come back, which is good, but I'm still thinking about this. About my penis, is not better anyway. Still lacking sensitivety, geting erections is a struggle with manual stimulation. Without it, they just don't happen. Blood test says testosterone is very low, but the doctor thinks it's just part of the issue, so he is keeping the ecodoppler.

Also, radioradio, the crowdfunding idea is great, I'll write about my issue to see if I can make a convincent note. It would be of real help to obtain some funding. But I think it's hard to find people who will have interest in helping. But I'll try.
