48 hours post op. I have not had a single thought that I fucked up doing this. This might not seem like a big deal, but I’ma huge second guesser. I’ve done a lot of reading and I think the big thing going in is to have proper expectations. I’m aware of all the potential downsides and none of them are worse than the sad version of sex and masturbation I’ve had for the last 10 years. I’m not even in the camp of, I should have done it earlier. I think you need to hit rock bottom and exhaust all other options before taking this step. If you don’t, then you might be likely to have regrets. For me, the perfect time was now.

Absolutely no regrets. I get an erection in about 20 pumps. My wife lovers the extra girth. Great sensation . she can go as long as she needs without me losing my erection

My concern has always been how do erections feel post implant as compared to before. I've read various comments on this but I still don't get a really good picture. Some say it feels the same as before the implant. Then others say nothing compares to a "blood filled dick". Then I read about floppy glans, loss of sensation, it's harder to cum, etc. And therefore that makes me somewhat reluctant to go with an implant.

It may be true on balance that nothing feels as good as an organically maximally erect dick. I'm sure that's likely. I've thought that as well here and there. But I'm approaching the 2 year mark and my erect prosthetic dick honestly feels better and better and better over time, post-implant.

On the one hand, I've lost a little bit of sensation...a little...and I'm conscious of that during vaginal sex occasionally. On the other hand, anal became possible and enjoyable for us both, and so there have been some adjustments and happy surprises along the way, too, as relates to sensation.

I'm kind of addicted to the feeling of being maximally inflated. I don't think the feeling I'm loving here is all related to the physical, though a lot of it is. I think there's a definite mental driver overlapping the physical. When I'm max inflated, it is intensely exciting to feel like my dick is bursting at the seams. And to know with certainty that she can put whatever crazy pressure she wants on my dick, in any way she chooses, and it just honestly feels pretty incredible.

My opinion. You're reading comments by a few men & then expanding that comment to cover all implanted men.
If injections work ok for you. Then feel free to continue them. But just be aware that the odds are quite high that at your age you'll outlive their effectiveness. When/if that happens you only have two choices. Celibacy or an implant. There is a very small chance that another non invasive ED treatment might show up but I haven't heard of any in development.
So at that point in time, if celibacy doesn't appeal to you. You'll have to accept that while implants are good, even excellent in some perspectives. They do have some things you'll need to adjust to. Most men find these to be minor & their overall implant satisfaction is quite high.
Don't dwell on the minor things.
