The question of whether to file a lawsuit is altogether different from whether to take aggressive steps to remediate this problem. There is no reason not to pursue both at the same time, but if you can't concentrate on both, do what you can to take care of your physical problems firstly. It will help your position in any lawsuit you end up filing anyway.

Have an appointment with surgeon that deals with my issues at UK urology.. I am at the mercy of payment by insurance so this hopefully will be it??

Not by UK doctor he sent me home and told me to continue use.

I wanted to share an update regarding my medical situation. I have had several consultations with a specialist at the University of Louisville (UofL) who appears to be genuinely concerned about my condition and utilizes Boston Scientific products. He has recommended the Tactra malleable penile implant; however, if I decide to opt for a three-piece device, he would suggest the AMS 700 CX model. I have the AMS 700 LGX, now.

Given the progressive weakening of my fingers due to essential tremors, I am inclined to choose the malleable implant. Currently, I am unable to fully operate a pump, even if my penis were not herniated at the moment.

I have also located another surgeon, Dr. Hakky in Atlanta, for whom I am seeking insurance approval. He has an excellent reputation, but his consultation fee is $564, which is beyond my financial means at this time. Despite the cost, it would be extremely beneficial to learn his recommendations. Based on my research, I believe the Rigi10 might be a better malleable option than the Tactra. Additionally, I have learned that there is now a one-pump three-piece model available, which could be advantageous for my condition.

It would be ideal to consult with a specialist who is not restricted by corporate limitations on specific devices and has access to a full array of options to determine the best treatment for my particular needs.

Im sorry to hear the situation you're in . Good luck resolving it . As far as a lawsuit, I don't see it . You'll be wasting your money, money you may need for a revision. Here's an analogy... You hire a contractor to pour you a new concrete driveway . The contractor does a beautiful job . He tells you , " You can't drive on it for 8 weeks , you need to let the concrete cure.' He then blocks off the end of the driveway with cones . Well 4 weeks go by and your walking on your new driveway and think , " This feels cured to me ! It's hard AF ! I'm not waiting another 4 weeks, I'm sure it's good enough to park on." You start driving and parking on it and then you start noticing cracks . Driveway looks like shit because you didn't have the patience to wait . You can't go sue the contractor saying he did a shit job or the concrete was bad when you didn't give it a chance to cure all the way like he said you needed to . I think you'll lose . Now I'm not a lawyer and I know nothing about the strength of concrete. I just don't want to see you make a bad situation worse for you financially. My only advice would be to call the big 4 ( Eid , Clavell, Hakky, and Perito) for help. They've seen it all and will be able to help . Find one that accepts your insurance and take the steps to get you fixed . Good luck brother, I'm rooting for you.

LastHope - its not so much the Tactra its just boston scientific. I just believe for my size for one I want the most options available and the rigi10 seems to be of a better quality core from my impressions. Hakky would give me those options I believe.
