I will be paying out of pocket so I don’t have to wait on insurance companies. Anyone else pay out of pocket ? What did yours cost ?

Cash price without the insurance involvement.
Malleable 16K
Inflatable 22K
Surgery+Anesthesia cost is usually same for both.
The difference in price is for the device cost.

I'm in Georgia and currently working with Dr. Hakky. There's a chance I'll get mine covered by insurance (BCBS), but I'm just assuming I'll have to pay out of pocket.

The all-in costs I came up with out of pocket (incl. doc/implant/hospital/anesthesia) after talking to the Doctor's office and the hospital is:

$22k if done in-office
$29k if done in hospital

I'm healthy enough I can have it done in-office. My surgery is scheduled for October 23 (I'd rather be recovering over winter than the nice summer months), and I've already paid half up-front to schedule the in-office procedure. If insurance comes through Dr. Hakky's office will refund the balance of what I've paid.

This is for a Titan inflatable, BTW.
58yo Coloplast Titan 28cm Penoscrotal with Dr. Hakky 10/21/2025.
Pre-op erect measurements:
8.5"L and 6.5"C

Post-op: 8”L and 6”C at one week.
