scary as hell the 1000 cycles quote.

just by cycling 2x daily you get 730 cycle in 1 year. I would strongly advise against the TENACIO pump. Probabily the older MS pump is much more reliable

I still cant wrap my head about it. And i still somehow hope is a kind of mistake. If we think that their warranty is 5 years and the pump only last 1000 cycles it wuold mean that most of implant will fail still under warranty, which of course is not convenient for them. Also if it was truly planned obsolescence why stating it? Wuoldnt you try to hide it? Idk till now only vague answer from their customers support and some Docs i have emailed havent answered at all. Are we the only ones on earth that have noticed this? Has soneone tried to talk about this with an high volume implanter?
Hard flaccid syndrome since 2019. Trying to get better with conservative treatments but an implant is on my radar

other users are reporting early failure from Tenacio pump,
example: viewtopic.php?t=25771

IMHO: if you can, refuse the tenacio pump. We need something battlefield tested especially if you need perito ex and ved to regain length
LGX 18 + 1, 90 cc. 2023/12
Pre-OP VED length: 5.5". Post-OP: 4". At 3 months post-op: 5".
Cycling with a lot of pain for the first 5 months, now improving
If you have a motorcycle or a bike stop using it (ED with motorcycle accident).

Thanks for sharing, are there several known cases? I get that it's still very new but the classic pump also has issues which is why they released this new pump.

Guys, if it ain't broke then don't fix it...
I was completely deflated since Jan 2020. I'm pleased with my choice and recovery which may help other bubbas, and is the point of this journal.
If it fails on cycle #1001, then I'll fix it...

I really wish there was a better way of doing revisions. It's kind of a shame that a failed pump means a complete revision in most cases. With the pump hanging far away from other components and easily accessible to a surgeon, it seems that just replacing the pump should be easy if not trivial.

I asked Dr. Hakky about repairs to failed Titan tubes, and he said it's risky because biofilms form and make infection a greater risk than removing everything. I guess that's true for pumps too.
58yo Coloplast Titan implant scheduled for 10/23/2025 with Dr. Hakky. Pre-op erect measurements:
8.5"L and 6.5"C
