Hi everyone,

I went for a follow up appointment with my urologist yesterday and he was surprised that I healed so quickly. The incision is almost closed and the sutures have started to fall (they are the type that dissolves/disintegrates naturally over time). I still have some swelling which I am dealing with by alternating between ice and hot showers, but progressively leaning more towards the latter. Pain has subsided but remains present, so I’m still taking regular painkillers (Ibuprofen and paracetamol).

I still walk funny, I’m sure people can tell that I’m limping and appear more rigid than usual, in part because of my big flaccid dick and perhaps because laying down for so long messed up with my back. In any case I’m not worried about those things, they will solve themselves.

My urologist wanted to see me again next week but I’ll be in another town with my family until the new year, so my next appointment will be on the 3rd of January, just four weeks and one day after surgery. Provided everything looks good and I’m not too much in pain, he will activate me and show me how to inflate and deflate. He does not want me to do it alone as he has experienced patients of his who did so and did not manage to deflate until they could see him. I sure don’t want to end up in this situation!

Another thing is that I definitely have glans engorgement, this morning in my bed I felt really horny and felt blood going to the head of my penis. Likewise, when I take a hot shower, my glans engorge while they shrink as I apply ice. As for feelings/sensations, it’s too early to tell but don’t see why there would be any dramatic changes compared to pre-op, except that I’ll have two steel hard rods in my penis ensuring that I won’t lose my erection. I’m sure the final outcome will be great!

Good stuff man, sounds like your recovery is going text book, mine not so much hopfully it all works out in the end, I was relatively pain free by about day 10 which is just around the corner for you. Also my glans also still engorge properly which i was please to see, Not afraid to say on day 12 i did actually have a wank and have had another once since, much like your self the horny started to kick it. Happy to say its possible even deflated because its quiet stiff still. if you go down that route just be gentle, use plenty of lube and listen to your body. My only major issue at this point in recovery (day 16) is my pump is in an absolutely daft location and my surgeon all of a sudden seems to be the hardest person to get hold of.

Yesterday its position was annoying me that much i went berserk on it trying to move it position i have paid the price for it today as i can most certainly feel some internal bruising caused by my heavy handed nature with it, i did gladly manage to move it, still no where near my scrotum still doing the half in half out thing and still rotated to where the pump is facing my left leg and the top is facing my right leg. The top/tubing is in the left side of my sack where the pump is kinda in the "fatpad" around the scrotum. Moving it to this new location is better than it was before i can actually close my legs without pain which i havent been able to do since the op. I have able to squeeze a pump into it so i can definitely use it in that location, its not ideal and my girlfriend had to help me deflate it which she managed to do. So all in all its useable its kinda a 2 man job at the moment but i can live with it in the short term.

Thing is i've watched these operation videos so many times i have no idea how my pump ended up in such a silly location unless it was intentional. Every video its as simple as they cut a little pocked inside the centre of your sack and place the pump. mine is so far away from that location its unreal and has been like that as far as i know since day 2 when the nurse tried to deflate me so im a bit mythed on why this is the case and still haven't got a response from my surgeon.

I will continue to battle/push/tug/pull the pump to see if i can actually move it over but im starting to think that there seriously isnt a path for it to get into my scrotum.. time will tell i guess....

Oh and on the upside i've been walking 1.5 miles a day over this last week and today i managed a 3 mile work so my mobility is certainly coming back. i'm a big walker typically because i have 2 wolf dogs that need a lot of excersize. There going crazy at the moment because there pullers and i dont want to walk them while im recovering. hopfully wont be too much longer couple more weeks i think

A quick update on my situation. I had laser eye surgery two days ago (PRK) and was literally blind for 48h. It was honestly one of the most painful medical treatment I’ve had, surprisingly even worse than the aftermath of the IPP surgery, though the pain is much more short-lived (it’s practically gone now). It was a little reckless to have this procedure done less than two weeks after the penile implant, but I wanted to take advantage of my medical leave to complete my transformation to a cyborg The positive thing is that I won’t have to wear glasses or contacts ever again.

Regrading the implant, pain is definitely on the decline, except at night where I sporadically have sharp pains in my testicles and shaft, but nothing too worrying I guess.

One thing that worries me a little though is that a kink, or bump, has appeared on my right cylinder around mid-way between the base and the glans. It is pronounced enough that I can visually see that something is different but I doubt anyone else would notice. The issue is that it is a little painful to the touch, the protuberance is quite sharp. As a reminder, the implant is still fully deflated.

Has anyone had this? Is it a problem, will it get worse or on the contrary get better as I start cycling? Thanks!

It is pronounced enough that I can visually see that something is different but I doubt anyone else would notice. The issue is that it is a little painful to the touch, the protuberance is quite sharp. As a reminder, the implant is still fully deflated.

Ah yes - this is the implant kinked because its fully deflated. "Dog Ear." Remember - the consensus is that Dog Ears are less pronounced with the CX - doesn't mean you CAN'T get them - they're just less obvious.

I have the same - if you feel it (gently) you'll realized its just a kinked cylinder. If you manipulate it, it will go away - and I imagine will disappear when inflated - even a pump or two.

Three weeks update:

So even though I am supposed to wait until the 3rd of January to inflate my implant together with my urologist, I couldn't wait to try it out so I gave it a few pumps to jerk off (gently of course) yesterday and the day before, and today I pumped to around 40/50% and jerked off and it felt sooooo good. All my sensations are there, my orgasms are exactly as before, strong and intense. Jerking off with (a partially inflated) implant feels exactly as good as with a natural dick, except that you can feel a pump in your scrotum if you like to touch yours balls while masturbating, and you may feel some tubing on the shaft, but I couldn't possibly care less, it makes no difference whatsoever in terms of pleasure.
