Your doctor will take it out before you leave from surgery.

It depends on your doctor. If they do leave it in, they will show you how to take it out. Super easy, mostly mental that people freak out.

Mine still In. I take out Friday. It’s real easy. If they didn’t give you instructions you can YouTube it. Everyone I’ve talked to says it’s no big deal but I must say just the sight alone make me uncomfortable

I had same day surgery. I was in a room watching TV and visiting with my wife for 5 hours or so after surgery. RN comes in and says Doc is releasing you to go home. Time for catheter to come out. Out it came........pray for doc using EXTRA lube when inserting it. If it's the least bit dry it is painful and a potential source of UTI. If you have pain (burning on urination or trouble starting a stream) after catheter removal start taking phenazopyridine hydrochloride. It is an OTC product that really works best even over prescription products.
Implant 1/28/2021. Dr Stephen A Johnson. Done at Baylor, Scott and White in Sherman, Texas. TRT since 2005, serious ED from 2004. Used nearly all PDE5 drugs. Injections failed. Started cycling at 1 week. Cycle most days. AMS 700 CX 23cm, 100ml reservoir.
