To those that are upset at my post. I did not use quotation marks in my go short comment. That was not in the paper thus no quotation marks.
Like lots of the multiple data points that we look at. Whether its a paper or a study doesn't matter very much. It is a finding by someone. To show the link or mention the paper is not any proof that it is gospel.
As for scrotal approach, when I first saw it done on YouTube I felt that it might be difficult to get accurate measurements due to the movement of the penis. Impossible, no. But the more manipulation could skew the measuring.
My surgeon only does the scrotal. I was perfectly fine with that, actually I preferred it.

Also, does anyone know if the pump on the AMS has been improved? I heard a lot of complaints about it’s large size and boxy shape and hard corner edges. Thanks

Depends on the AMS the doctor uses. They have 2. The LGX and the CX. In a study they applied pleasure to both the Titan and LGX in the 18 and 21 lgx and 18 and 22 Titan. The 18 cm Titan had the largest girth but the 21 lgx was very close to the 22 Titan. I wish I had the info on all the sizes and the cx also but those are all I have found.

I do know the pumps on both sides seem to have failures and complaints. The Titan as it is smaller have men not being able to locate the deflate button and deflate more. Both are a new addition in the scrotum and the larger size AMS would be a bit more to get used to but your body adapts over time. Just takes a bit longer. Both have quirky problems and seems the new Titan pump is not used by some doctors as it has many problems. The Titan has been said to quack. The AMS MS pump will vibrate as fluid flows back to the reservoir signaling full deflate mode.

I have the AMS pump, and I must say, that vibration when deflating is pretty cool. I explained it to my wife and let her give it a try when deflating, she was impressed!.

I like it mostly because when I'm squeezing my penis and pushing it down into my crus to get as much fluid out as possible, I can tell when fluid is still going back to the reservoir. When it stops vibrating, I can stop squeezing.

There was a pump issue with AMS that resulted in recalls, but that was 2020. I spoke with my doctor about that and he confirmed there are no issues with the AMS pumps now, and no risk of getting an old bad pump.

Looking at this link, seems it affected only about 50 pumps:

I'm not even going to try to contest all of the bogus and imprecise statements made about the Titan implants in this paragraph.

Fortunately, @Buzzer (the OP) decided to go w/a Titan despite such BS. So, there's no need to waste a breath on such unsubstantiated assertions. :)
