My one and only injection was done by the doctor. Cost me $80. I didn't mind the tiny needle had no problem with the thought of self injecting, but all I got was an intense burning and the feeling that my inner penis was about to explode for 2 or 3 hours after. That and not the slightest erection. So a no go for me. Now that I have an implant it is a mute point.

I am most definitely a grower. Since hydrocele surgery none of my shaft shows when I am flaccid. When I started injections this made things difficult, and I missed several times. I found that with stimulation i would get engorged and grow, but never get hard enough for intercourse.
Our process now is;
prep the injection
foreplay until i grow enough for a good injection target
More foreplay while the trimix works
penetration.

Looking for advice on tri mix injection with and without auto injector. What to expect from injection: second injection was auto inject and I had just a chubby but did have dull pain. Can't tell if pain was from autoinjector or amount of tri mix or just plain luck of the draw. Any advice is appreciated.

If the first injection worked well and the second injection was the same dose of the same mix then I'd have to say you had a partial mis. I don't use an autoinjector because there is no opportunity to determine if your needle placement is correct before it injects. Please read as many of the old injection threads as you can stand.

Can the injectable PGE1 or various Bimix, Trimix, Quadmixes be dripped or otherwise applied into the urethral meatus?

Just wondering if it is safe or an irritant to the urethra.

Any guys out there that have tried and moved on to the IPP but still have some taking up space on the shelf?

prior to trimix my uro prescribed Muse suppositories. they are straight alprostadil. they are meant to go in the urethra. it did not irritate me and did not provide a usable erection for very long. i also got the worst ache I've ever felt. i guess i am not one of those guys that can tolerate it straight.

How long do you typically have to allow the formula to "sit" inside the urethra before it takes affect?
Wouldn't urinating or any pre-ejaculatory fluid leaking out wash away the medicine?

The instructions actually mention to urinate prior to insertion as it will dissolve the medication faster. They say with 5 to 30 minutes it should produce an erection which i can confirm.

I think it would be useful to have some content about how wives react to their husbands sticking a needle into their dicks. It took my wife some time to get over her (natural) shock at the idea.
