Good experience with injection

I had a radical prostatectomy 3 years ago. I am still a novice with Caverject. I had a few solo experiments with varying results. This weekend was my first time using it with a sex partner. I increased the dosage somewhat and got a full erection in just under five minutes. Kept that erection for about an hour of sex play. It was the best erection that I can remember having in decades (I am 69 y/o). I was so proud of it that I was tempted to go out in public and show it off (refrained from that however). Those are the pros.

On the con side, when my partner masturbated me, it was a little uncomfortable. Also, when I was having intercourse, my penis was a little tender. After orgasm, I stayed erect for about 3 hours, with no stimulation whatsoever. I had some difficulty falling asleep because my penis ached slightly. I was pondering the possibility of reporting to an emergency room complaining of priapism, when the erection finally subsided on its own.

I should add that I also took Viagra, which may have been a factor.

30% OF GUYS HAVE PAIN WITH THE PGE-1 IN TRIMIX. It causes a dull pain. In me it was unbearable.

Suggest you try Sudafed, a decongestant. My uro suggested (on my first
alprostadadil/PGE-1 try, still erect after 4 1/2 hours) that I take 4 Sudafed tablets.

Erection subsided and I've used it many times since, over nearly 5 years. It always works for me and many others on this site.
Injection meds shoud come with this advice! Good luck.

When for a 1st time my doctor injected standard trimix, it was hurting a lot right after injection.
So, he changed formula .... it doesn't hurt now, sometimes there is a little bit dull pain after orgasm
