First Natural Erection after Prostatectomy!

Today is very notable as it marks the end of 12 months to the day since I had a robotic prostatectomy. However, it is also very significant in that I achieved my first full and natural erection! It felt great and was such a relief that functionality is returning. I had been achieving a few 50% partial erections over the last couple of weeks which was encouraging but I thought it might take longer to achieve a full erection. It took quite a bit of stimulation and persistence but I got there. Now hopefully I can kick on from here and achieve usable erections for intercourse. Hopefully I may soon not need the pump anymore. I have a viberect on order which will hopefully work quite well now functionality is showing good signs of improvement.

I am posting this as a source of encouragement for others who are still waiting and wondering if function will ever return. I have been through periods of doubt and finally I can see the light at the end of a long tunnel.

I had my surgery about 2 weeks ago and this morning in the shower, I noticed that I could make my penis almost horizontal to the shower floor. I was really surprised. Before this, I could sort of make it a little longer but no real rise in it. My Dr. even really didn't want to talk to me about any penis rehab until the end of next week. Now if I can just control the dribbles. UGH.

Hey perform, you should be so lucky!

Most guys take a couple of months or more for continence and then start targetting ED.
Of interest though, ED specialist Dr Mulhall says ED typically reaches it's worst at around 3 months after surgery so....

I need the encouragement of you guys and your experiences to base my situation. I am still doing the Kagels. The problem is that I really feel horny and i want to have some sort of sex. LOL

I understand what you mean about feeling horny but not being able to perform. You have only just had surgey and so you need to be patient for a long while yet.
