Trial run at the doctor's office
I will be seeing my urologist in two weeks and will get my injection trial. What might I expect? How long have others had to stay at the office? Did the med wear off before leaving or did you need to carry a coat in front of you? Just wondering how to prepare. I have a female doctor. Having her handle Mr. Happy and bring him back to life may be a bit embarrassing.

Re: Trial run at the doctor's office
I can't speak for my urologists but from all my experience with them, and their nurses, and their techs, they seem to welcome male ED patients who treat these situations as educational opportunities. I am fairly positive not one of them sees me in a sexual way when I am naked and they are happy to use their medical training to explain what they are going to do to my penis and why. It is very liberating to not worry about getting an erection in front of a stranger, so I now ask questions that years ago I wouldn't have because the answer involves manipulation of my penis or scrotum. So I recommend taking a deep breath and putting your trust in their professionalism.
Married, ED for 28 yrs. On Trimix for many yrs. Lived in the Adirondacks of NY but moved south. Cancerous prostate removed in 2023. Hernia (from prostate surgery) repaired in 2024. Urinary sling implanted 2025.
