Pharmacy

Postby Lonehill » Mon Apr 01, 2019 3:54 pm

Has anyone ever made a list of pharmacies that ship nation wide? I used to use Talon Pharmacy but they no longer ship to Oregon. There are no compounding pharmacies in my area.
I've just ordered from an pharmacy in Eugene but the price seems a bit high - $130 plus $30 shipping for 5ml of Quadmix.
It would be nice to have different options, especially discounted like Talon.
Anyone have some names they can suggest ?

Would a list of these mail-order pharmacies be a good thing to create as a sticky at the top of the Injections forum? The question about mail-order sourcing seems to come up often.

Whadadaya think, Larry?

There's three of them listed in the Documents worth reading section under Injections. They are found under the EXAMPLES OF AVAILABLE MIXES heading. I'm happy to add another subsection specifically for that purpose. Start listing the pharmacies and I'll get er done. The only issue is that the States they're licensed in changes from year to year. Pharmacies that are licensed in all 50 States are rare if any actually exist.

We cannot list pharmacies, but one of the biggest in the country has an ad on here! Master Pharmacy is a nationwide compounding pharmacy which does injectables as well as generic oral meds.

I guess I 'll have to shop around for some pharmacies. Those on the east coast often have higher shipping rates to Oregon. Some that I called will do trimix but not quadmix. Others are just way overpriced. It would really be nice to have people review some pharmacies that they've found to offer good deals and are reliable and hopefully sell nation wide.A search of FT did not result in a lot names of specific pharmaceutical companies.
I'm sure a lot of other people on this forum would also appreciate this information.

Here is one of the complications with this. On a very personal note, I have spent years and thousands of dollars of my own money I did not/do not have creating and sustaining Franktalk. We have asked industry for support. The pharmacies are making a TON of money off us and they have refused to help us at all. These are multimillion dollar corporations and will not even send us a donation or buy an advertisement. So, sorry, I am not at all interested in giving them free advertising, lining their pockets, giving them business while I have trouble paying the bills to run Franktalk.
Also, the IRS forbids us from helping any corporation make money. We are a nonprofit.
While, yes, the list would help men find affordable drugs, the fact is, it would help the drug companies most of all. The IRS would prefer that we not provide lists of businesses because we are basically helping them make money. If they are making money off us, we are not acting as a nonprofit...does that make sense?

Thanks
Paul

Called Master Pharm.....initial price was $10.00 cheaper.....but the shipping was $45.00. So it's $35.00 higher where I am located.

You are absolutely right in all respects Paul - there is a tremendous amount of money being made from us by big and small pharma. By the way thank you for FT I have learned a lot about ED et al .

Which is why the NO ADVERTISING rule was applied. Maybe what we ought to do is write the pharmacies and ask for a donation and if they say NO, we put the negative advertising on FT and ask our brothers to support us by refusing to purchase from them and to pass on the word. If they wanna be jerks, two can play that game. I'm tired of being Mr. Positive Nice Guy while getting screwed over. :x
