Will it work?

Postby Nocturne » Mon May 27, 2019 9:29 pm

How does it feel to no longer have to worry, “Will it work?”

I am not implanted. For now, 2.5 mg Cialis every night keeps me doing OK. My dick works well enough to get me and my wife to orgasm 99% of the time. But sex is always haunted by that thought - “Will it work? Will it stay?”

I am sick to death of this feeling. I do not care if I ever lose complete functionality, I do not want to die before getting my implant, because I do not want to live the rest of my life worrying, “Will it work?” EVERY time I have sex.

Can anyone else here relate to this?
Genetically sky-high Lp(a) of 390 led to various heart diseases. Ultra-low testosterone of 120 (now 480 with Clomid) also contributed to ED at age 41. Managing with daily Cialis, but for me, the implant is a "when", not an "if".

I didn’t delay.....I went ahead with surgery before atrophy occurred. I recovered all of the size I had previous to having ED.
My surgeon emphasised the point and I am glad I accepted his guidance.

If you're having regular good sex with a regular partner. I'd say stick with what is working. Cialis pills go up to 20mg. You're at the lowest dose, you still have some time left. Unless you see a big change in the near future. Like losing insurance that would pay for an implant.

Thanks for the comments. One thing I did not mention is that because of my medical conditions I am unlikely to live past my 60s, so I have it in my head that if I make it to 55 and don’t quite NEED one, I’m going to seriously pursue getting one anyway. I’m not sure what the point of waiting would be with only about 10 years left on the table.
