Most men are obsessed with sexual performance and I was no exception. I suffered from coital anxiety for many years: just before penetration, something would click in my brain and my erection would subside. This is extremely common, esp. among young men, and it is nothing to worry about.
In my case, oral medication (Cialis, oral phentolamine 40 mg) was very effective. I also used two simple techniques that worked really well:
1) Give it some time
Nobody's infallible and it is perfectly normal to fail every now and then, that's not even ED. When it does happen and you can't get an erection, don't worry and avoid sex for some time (a week, a month, whatever you need). This will allow you to relax, forget that negative experience and clear your mind.
2) Do a lot of research on the subject of ED
Read books, talk to doctors, consult reliable websites. The more you know about ED, the less stressful it will become. Moreover, you will also be able to help others with the same problem.
