Possible Help For Veterans Using Tri-Mix

Postby flyingduck2019 » Sat Oct 05, 2019 2:25 pm

If you are a veteran who uses Tri-Mix you may be interested in this information.

If you can use Tricare and get your medications from Express Scripts and delivered to your home you can get Tri-Mix from Express Scripts. They, as far as I know, only offer one compound (150mg papvrn-5mg phntlmn-50mg pge1). You can get a 90 day supply delivered to your home for a $24.00 copay. You can get it at a in network pharmacy for $28.00 for a 30 day supply.

Up until I found out about getting my tri-mix through express scripts I was paying $80.00 for a 5ml bottle.

I hope this information will be useful to someone out there.

flyingduck2019, That is excellent news. I haven't heard any news from the paperwork that I submitted. But I like. Just thought of a question: If the compounding pharmacy that my AF doctor sent my Tri-Mix prescription to for filling/compounding, wouldn't that off-post pharmacy already be approved for use by Tri-Care? I'll be doing some checking and making some phone calls.
Right now, injections on hold, trying to get Testosterone level higher, but UPS did deliver VED, so I've been practicing with it.
My current Tri-Mix formula is 30/1/20.
A Co-pay of $24 or $28 beats the $130 I paid couple weeks ago.
So glad I found Franktalk!
