We have a growing number of young men coming to FrankTalk. Statistically, 8% of men in their 20s have ED and 12% in their 30s (I can't remember where I got that figure - sorry). To paraphrase one of these young men - "Here I am at the time of my life when I should be enjoying my penis the most, I'm dealing with it not working."
Whether these are young veterans with injuries, or young men with medical issues, or young men who can't figure out what the hell is going on, this place is for them.
The frustration, the anger, the resentment are understandable. When an older guy can't get a straight answer from a doctor, think how hard it is to get them to take a young man seriously. The most common response is still - "It's in your head." Most of the guys who come here know it's not all in their head. And even if it were, does it make it any less real???
We've set aside this section for the young men to be able to find each other to talk to. Yep, there is some wisdom in talking to a more experienced, older guy (and we encourage them to do so!), but finding other guys who are in the same situation is the most valuable experience we can offer.
I'm hoping that by having this forum, we won't lose these guys and they can get the support they need.

Limp is no fun when you're 50 ot 60. I can't imagine the mindfork of being limp at 25 or 30. These young guys need our help and encouragement more than we need each other's.

There are workable solutions for you, Kevin, even if they may change over time. Sometimes life just sucks, my friend, and our choices are to overcome it or be defeated by it. Choose to win. We've got your back.
