I had my surgery at Tampa General Hospital on Oct. 28th by Dr. Carrion. Everything so far is going fine. I have one question....How long does it take for the pump to soften up? Right now it's like squeezing a marble.
I was in no pain after the surgery and didn't even need to take a Tylenol. Dr. Carrion and Dr. Fernandez are both really nice guys.

so good to hear you are doing well! I am scheduled for an implant in January 2020. I hope I do as well as you seem to be doing. You are in the right place as these guys are a great group and franktalk is a great resource. Hopefully, someone who is experienced will respond to you soon. I wish you the best of luck!

It seems impossible to be cut on down there and not have any pain. So glad your doing so well!
Why do you think your not experiencing any pain? I sure hope I am as lucky as you were. Wish you all the best.

It will take a little time, working toward getting that initial "pop" which makes continued pumping possible. Hang in there, brother. It is worth it!
Re: New From Florida
Congrats and welcome to our world. The pump marble will soften after use. In the beginning a hot bath softens it up some. It takes a few months till it gets really easy. In the mean time experiment on how to grip it and pump. I prefer a two handed method. Left for finger under it and right thumb pushing. Have fun figuring it out.

Congratulations and welcome to our “club”. There is no set answer to your pump question. What I can tell you is just keep working with it and one day it is like a switch gets flipped and it is easier. In my mind I tried to figure it out and all I could think is maybe all of the trauma to the penis cause internal swelling that needs to to heal and subside in order to create the space to accept more pumps. I have not idea if that is correct, but it seems plausible. Regardless, before long you will be able to pump it up.
I am 64 and had ED from a VL. Implanted by Dr. Ronald Anglade in Atlanta on 9/18/17. I have an AMS700LGX 21 cm via a Penoscrotal incision. Very happy with results. 6" soft and 6 3/4” x 5 5/8” hard.
Re: New From Florida
Needle, it was scrotal. I was up, walking around in the hospital. No heavy lifting just light stuff. Two days later I went food shopping (With help carrying the bags)
Re: New From Florida
Hey lennywin. I am 3 weeks post op and just got titan activated at the dr yesterday. When I got home, it took me over 3 hours of working with the pump - pushing and pushing on that hard marble. Try getting comfortable with what you think is the deflate buttons. On mine seems that to deflate I have to feel above the pump ball. I spent the better part of the day on it. It’s very frustrating. Got lots of support from some guys on here. Thanks greg1956 and Floridian!! They both were there when I needed them and they kindly supported and listen to my concerns, as well as gave me tips. Finally after much pushing (the hours of groping my already inflamed ball sack (ha! But it did make me really sore) give you a much more confident feel of how to grip the pump (marble). At one point, using both thumbs to push down as hard as I could pushing it against my opposing index and middle finger. It broke through and the fluid gushed, valve opened. Pumped myself way up to see the new cock of course! Then it took me. While to figure out the relate. Ouch. First stretching hurt me (but I had peyronies). Happy with my much straighter dick! Before and after pics I my introduction. It’s not easy - persistence man! Good luck and feel free to private message me if you need more tips. And welcome, this is a supportive and very cool group of men - all have well earned their battle scars!
