Performance Anxiety
What is the best thing to take for performance anxiety?
Re: Performance Anxiety
Alcohol. No joke. That's what helps me. I don't get as hard as I used to and I constantly think about it when I'm in the bedroom. I lose my erection about 50% of the time and can't finish. A few drinks and I get more aggressive and that helps push back my anxiety.
Fifty-one years old. ED started at age forty. I took Cialis for eight years and used Trimix for almost three. Implanted 12/6/22 by Dr. Jonathan Clavell. AMS 700CX 21cm.

Same here. A little bit of alcohol may actually be helpful.
Age 40. Psychogenic ED for over 20 years. Current regimen: Udenafil 200 mg, oral phentolamine mesylate 40 mg, Seredyn.

That is important. I understand that more alcohol can cause ED problems.
Re: Performance Anxiety
Interesting. While I do have a physical issue in some mild venous leakage, it is definitely compounded by performance anxiety from years of ED problems. I do well about 80% of the time by using some supplements along with Viagra and EDEX injections but always have some level of anxiety around if it will work this time or not. I will try having a drink before hand to see if i see any improvement with the anxiety portion.
Anyone have any suggestions on how long before intercourse that a drink may benefit?

Trimix (30-3-40) injections in conjunction with daily Cialis. Use VED for conditioning.

Welcome to the forum, and thanks for asking our advice.
Best thing to take for performance anxiety, in my experience, is communication with your partner.
Maybe more important than that (MAYBE) is to develop skills with the parts of your body (or sex tools/toys) that you KNOW you can control. Hands, tongue, etc.
I suffered anxiety when sex was approaching for years while I suffered from slowly progressing E.D. It was not until I gave up on "traditional" sex and developed alternative skills that WERE reliable that I was able to relax and enjoy the whole process. While pleasuring my partner, if I got an erection, we could go on to intercourse, and she already knew (because I told her) that things may or may not go to completion, but since I KNEW that SHE KNEW I would take whatever steps were necessary for her pleasure, I could relax and just enjoy the ride....whatever form that ride took.
Women are INCREDIBLY supportive, understanding and appreciative of a man with whom they feel respected, trusted and SAFE. The do love to help, especially when they get rewarded orgasmically.
Oddly. When I got implanted and the potential for my erection to collapse on its own without warning, I took a few months to lose the performance anxiety the preceded penetration. I was no longer sure my hips and back would remember the motions. My penis was not anxious at all.
