Tactra to Rigicon??

Postby jcooley » Wed Apr 22, 2020 1:12 pm

Hi,
I got BS Tactra 7 months ago but super unhappy with the bending. It's literally there all the time.
Should I go under another surgery and get Rigicon?

All malleable (semi-rigid) implants will be "there all the time". Having said that, there may be differences in the "stowability" of each (the Rigicon claims to be able to be bent at greater angles than other malleables) but the differences are likely to be minor. Somewhat speculatively, I will suggest that a slightly smaller implant might be more comfortable, as well. Even MORE speculatively, I suspect an implant that is most comfortable is likely to be less rigid when you want to use it for sex.

Do your research. I hope other men who have malleables will step up with their first-hand experiences and suggestions. What you just got from me is second-hand,

I got a Tactra 9 weeks ago tomorrow. I was treated for prostate cancer 3 years ago and couldn’t get hard since that poison started, so I am so happy I can fuck my beautiful wife after 3 years (and actually feel an orgasim which I didn’t think would happen). I feel like a new man! That said: it’s been easy hanging out at home in my joggers but this doesn’t just bend down as advertised. I have no idea how I’m going to fit into my jeans. Why didn’t you you get an inflatable?

Been there, done that, so will chime in.
I forgot who posted a sheet of what the bendability of all the malleables are, as well as their lifespan. The Tactra is the least bendable, it only goes to 90 degrees. For me, that was not enough. The Rigicon can go to 130 degrees. When you only have a 4" dick, you need all the bendability you can get for stowage.
If you can afford it, *I* say go with the Rigicon, but like LS said, do your research.

I had my surgery in New York. Most of the high volume implanters are doing Rigicon when it comes to semi-rigid. You might contact directly with the company. Eid, Kramer, Perito (?) all in east coast. BUT, I have no idea what a revision surgery look like. I am happy with my Rigicon. Bending is good. There were couple tactra implanted guys on FT and they were not happy with the outcome as well.

And you're doing that just for a better concealment? How do you like your tactra for sex? Does it offer good ridigity? And why not an inflatable now?

I would think sex is great for him! When I had the Tactra, not long in the healing department to try new toy.

Sex is good. Since it does not bend ;)
Concealment is a big issue with Tactra.
I heard lots of failure stories with Inflatable, don't wanna take that chance and have another surgery.
