recovering from ED without pills, injections or implants?
recovering from ED without pills, injections or implants?
Has anyone recovered from ED without having to use pills, pumps, injections or an implant. I'm talking about ED that is physical in nature not psychological. Has anyone done some sort of therapy or anything that has brought back their potency?

Yes I did all with herbs and hormons, but not drugs, you can read my post titled DRUGS VERSUS HERBS, HERBS MY CHOICE,but do still get the odd days or a week when I'm a bit low, but then last week did it six days out of seven, so I dont think we are ever out of ED?
Good Luck

Alan,
Actually, yes. i have several friends who had prostatectomies who no longer need anything for erections - they function very similar to how they did before surgery. If you read Robin's book, http://www.franktalk.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=614&p=3919&hilit=robin#p3919 you can read how he overcame his ED with lifestyle changes. I think, actually, a large percentage of men with general ED can regain potency by physical therapy and lifestyle changes.
Here's what we know:
Diet - low fat, lots of vitamins - lower cholesterol improves penile function
exercise - raises testosterone and improves blood flow.
Use it or lose it - that includes solo sex or with a partner.
drugs, alcohol, cigarettes - all bad.
solo physical therapy - stretching, vacuum pump, mild jelqing, edging - all good.
mentally - stay erotic, stay aroused, stay sexual.
How's that for a start?
Paul

One caveat, Paul. Since cholesterol is a building block of testosterone; and since T is a very important ingredient in an man's overall health and fitness, including and especially his sexual functionality; letting or causing your "good" cholesterol to drop too low is actually NOT a good thing. I speaketh from experience. Although I've never had high cholesterol, they put me on cholesterol meds after my heart surgery as a precaution--so I wouldn't get high cholesterol. At one point in that regimen, my good cholesterol dropped to 4. Not 40, but 4. They immediately cut the cholesterol medicine dosage in half and then in half again 3 months later. Gotta keep all this in balance. Just saying.

Greg,
I gotta say, that story is one in a million. Clearly, fooling around with cholesterol levels through drugs is only for a doctor to do That's not the kind of thing we address. Every doctor I've worked with has their men lower fat intake. Eating healthy and staying healthy is what it's all about. Most men (72%) in America are overweight/obese - though fat/thin does not indicate cholesterol levels. For these guys, Erectile function will improve with (naturally) lower blood fats and smaller waist lines. Besides, for every 15 pounds a guy loses, he gains half an inch of penis length!

Paul,
You won't get any arguments from me about fitness and healthy eating. I'm Exhibit A for my team of doctors--I actually made the lifestyle changes they told me to do and they are working. I meant only to suggest that a broad statment like "lower cholesterol improves penile performance" is true only up to a point.
