Hi, I'm a 46 year old diabetic. Been living with it for 41 years. ED for the last 7. I will have surgery at the Cleveland Clinic, Dr Drogo Montague. I'm getting the AMS 700LGX with a small pump due to testicular atrophy from testosterone replacement therapy. Having surgery on June 28th. Scared stiff.
Age 46, Type 1 diabetes since age 6. Northeast Ohio here Tried orals, injections-single agent, bimix. AMS 700 LGX on 06/28/12 at the Cleveland Clinic by Dr. Drogo Montague

Welcome to Frank Talk, KB:

You've come to the right place. There is lots of information here about implants--and it's real guy talk. Ask all the questions you can think of. I totally understand your apprehension; I also know that you don't want to be overly stressed going into surgery.

I'm not part of the Bionic Boner Brigade--at least not as long as the trimix injections work for me. But there are a lot of guys who can relate to what you're going through and I've no doubt they will respond. In any case, and bionic or not, we've got your back.

Best wishes for hard times.
