I had my implant surgery 3 days ago. Hoping this will be the last stop in my ED roller coaster.
I've been a type II diabetic since 26. Used Viagra to combat ED during my first marriage. Ultimately it was not effective enough. Moved on to injections that worked well for 10 years into my second marriage. Increased injection med strength illustrated that the writing was on the wall. The injections became ineffective. That marriage has recently come to an end.
I do believe that ED was a major contributor to these marriage failures. Mistaken lack of connection and such.
It's now time to hit it with the ultimate hammer. Relationships are difficult and I want to remove sexual disfunction from the equation moving forward.
A couple days before my surgery I had to take COVID 19 test. No big.
My urologists have their own surgical center so check in was quick and easy. Wrote a $18,000 check as my insurance doesn't cover the procedure. Stripped down, blood pressure, temperature, blood sugar checked and answered the normal litany of pre-op questions.
Sitting alone in the pre-op room I had a rush of euphoria. Smiling and laughed for some reason. Felt like finally there was going to be a final solution for an issue that has been nagging at me for as long as I could remember. It was terrific.
The procedure was quick. Checked in at 8am and was home before noon. Doc inserted a AMS-700 CX @ 21cm. Picked up my oxycontin and an antibiotic. Doctor let me know that my penis was pumped up 30% erect.
First day was pretty fuzzy recovering from the anesthesia. Post op I felt more uncomfortable rather than being in actual pain. The catheter was far more of an issue that pain from the incision and implant.
My penis and balls were wrapped in a fair amount of gauss. The shaft was pointing up at my stomach. It was all being held together using a jock strap. There was swelling and numbness down there. Used frozen bean to ice the area. Slept on my back.
I am so fortunate to be in a new relationship with a terrific gal who just happens to be a nurse. She is fascinated with the procedure as well as completely more than capable of taking care of me as I heal. How did I get so lucky?
Second morning began with the removal of the catheter. (so thankful for my beautiful nurse GF). Of course not that much fun but man what a relief. Began peeing on my own into a urine jug. This is essential as my penis is pointing straight up towards my stomach. There is no was I could hit the toilet. Plus I didn't have much feeling in my penis. She sat on the toilet and placed my partially erect cock into the urine jug as a forced out pee. It took a little force to push the pee through. The erection made this process a bit more difficult.
Took Oxy and Tylenol at monitored intervals through out the day. Stayed on the couch. Kept busy watching movies.
We discovered in these forums a great solution for holding ice packs against your nuts. Jockstrap and 2 under wears. Slipping the frozen peas or beans between the 2 layers of underwear holds everything in place.
Day 3 started with removal of the bandages and gauss. Felt great to get all this off of me. My semi erect penis requires peeing into the jug. Marked improvement in peeing. Not nearly as difficult.
Finally I was able to get a good look at my newly bionic dick. My balls looked bruised but are not all that sensitive. My penis looks pretty good. Not too much damage. Pain and discomfort has improved dramatically. I'm sitting on the couch looking at it with delight.
This relationship is a very new one. We are sexually active with out penetration. I was hoping that my injections might work but they did not. So I revealed my interest in the IPP to her after only dating a couple of weeks. She is extraordinary and caring. Excited to see how this all works. I could not be luckier. This entire process is clearly going to be a bonding process for both of us.
I'll continue to post my progress. Would love to hear your questions or tips!
Off we go!

Best wishes on a swift and thorough recovery! It sounds like you have a great partner through this, which will help a TON.
Stay patient with yourself, don't rush, and follow your doctor's orders...That's really the best advice I can give!
Be well!

39yo, ED since sexually active, moderate to severe. Bisexual. Pills helped a little, trimix and muse failed. Implanted 8/25/20 by Dr. Karpman, 22cm+1RTE Titan Touch.
Day 4 Post Op Begins
Had a terrific night of sleep. Swelling continues to go down. I was able to sleep on my side without my balls being squished.
Very excited to be able to feel the outline of my balls and the pump unit.
Still using the urine jug to pee but it almost felt normal. With the exception of the 30% inflated cock.
Speaking of that. If that's only 30% inflated... Wow. That is going to be one girthy unit when it's ready to go back in the game.
Going without the jockstrap today and just 2 underwear with the frozen beans chilling down there.
I think we'll see how long I can go today without the pain meds.
My follow up appointment is in exactly 1 month. Doc says I can begin cycling 2 weeks post op if I can. Looking forward to that.
Something I thought was a bit comical is that they give you a bag with instruction manual and sample rubber pump. Sort of like the keys to the new car.

Re: My journey begins...
What was your length and girth pre op? Which Dr did your implant?
A young guy in his early 30s from South Asia. Implanted Titan 22cm by Dr. Tariq Hakky in Atlanta (Dec 2020). Amazing doctor! No pain during recovery. My size is 5.75” x 4.6” which is better than pre-OP size of 5.6” x 4.5”. Hoping to gain more in future.
Day 5 - Recovery & relief continues
Day 5 post op and the swelling continues to improve. Continuing ice on and off every 20 minutes or so. I would recommend using frozen raw beans instead of peas and such to chill your balls. They don't melt and get wet.
One issue that had to be dealt with last night was shitting. The oxycontin has slowed everything down. It had been 4 days since my last crap (before surgery) so I had to get that going. Tried stool softeners with no luck. Again my GF/Nurse came to the rescue with her home brew poop potion. A large coffee cup mix of Prune Juice & milk of magnesia. Warmed up in the microwave chased with a cup of hot water.
30 minutes later and it was on. 2 Huge dump sessions followed by a world class diarrhea blast. Relief.
Look guys if you have a choice, find yourself a nurse to date. (Not mine though)
It is a bit odd to walk around with an erect penis after being limp for so long. Waking up in the morning with wood is a pretty nice feeling,
Overall the shaft is a bit sensitive and around the incision area is tender. Surface bruising in the groin area is still very visible. I can feel the glue they put over the dissolving stitches. Overall I would not call it actual pain. I am skipping all pain meds today to see what happens.
My partner and I discuss our excitement to have PIV sex often. It's wonderful.
Honestly it feels like my penis is hard enough to have sex. Holding off until I see the doc on follow up in 3 weeks.
Hoping to begin experimenting with cycling later next week.

Re: My journey begins...
Jtm_9988. It's nice to hear that things are going your way nicely. Really, you have had several good things happen lately. What sounds like a pretty good girlfriend. Who seems interested in jumping you (big plus). Seems like she is taking a special interest in nuturing that penis back to health. Be sure to hug her daily & tell her that you appreciate how she takes care of you.
Also, your surgery sounds like it was very successful. All you need now is to get through the recovery & see if you can get some size back. You're going to be golden shortly.
Posting your success story is good for some of our members that are still trying to decide on an implant.

Good luck bro!!
26 yo from Italy.Peyronie's disease probably since 2015.Since then, penis bends of about 20-25°. PD keeps progressing. Moderate ED since 4 years and things getting worse. From pornstar-like to depressed, but still fighting for a solution.
Day 7 - 1 Week out and very good progress
Hey gang,
Well the healing has gone well one week out of surgery. The swelling is pretty much gone. My balls are floppy like they were pre-op. There is still obvious bruising of the skin of my groin area. I picked almost all of the glue that was on my small incision. Penis and balls are tender but improving every day.
At this time I'm having a hard time sitting in a chair for long periods of time. Uncomfortable. Also there's no way I can wear jeans yet. My 30% inflated penis shows pretty clearly in sweat pants. I have gotten looks
I can easily feel the shape of the pump and release valve.
This morning I masturbated successfully with the 30% inflation of the penis. All this talk with my nurse gf about having sex was just too much for me. It was very nice.
Very excited as my recovery moves forward.
Please let me know if you have any questions or tips.

Day 12 post op
Hey gang,
My healing has rapidly and well. There is only a very small amount of bruising in my groin area and my incision is just about completely healed. (just a little redness)
My doctor said I could start cycling tomorrow. My gf and I have played around pumping it up a bit and such. Have not attempted to release it.
Masturbation has been good and effective with the 30-40% inflated penis. Urinating is easy at this point although I have to position my body at 45 degree angle to the toilet.
Very much looking forward to cycling. Having difficulty actually getting a good pump out of the bulb. Will really give it a go tomorrow.
I am very happy with the implant at this point. My penis looks like it did back when it functioned well with injections. Size and girth are close for sure. (never really measured pre-op). Inflated at 30-40% I'm about 5 1/2" in length and 4 1/2" girth.
Extremely horny. (so is my GF). Not sure how long we can hold off. I have every bit of confidence we can have PIV sex with my current level of hardness and length.
This is really getting me excited for my sexual future!
