Trimix Compounding Pharmacies in US

Hello Everyone:

This is my first mail on this site! I am a 52 year old male living in Houston, TX. In early 2020 I was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer and I elected to go for nerve sparing surgery option. I got my surgery done (100% nerves spared) in August this year. I was referred to ED specialist and was suggested to take Trimix. He told me that since I am diabetic for long, this is the best option for me. The clinic referred me to a compounding pharmacy in CA, and found the costs very exorbitant. With a huge load of debt, I am trying to be careful even with pennies.

1. Where do you guys buy your Trimix in US? Can I get names of 5-6 compounding pharmacies so that I can shop for best price and service?
2. Anyone from Houston? Are there any local compounding pharmacies here in Houston that can supply Trimix?
3. I was told that Trimix expires after 25 days of opening the bottle. Is that true? Or there are ideas to extend the shelf life?

Hello Texasguy----I'm going to start at the bottom of your questions. Will trimix expire after 25 days? HELL NO, I think they tell you this to sell more of it. I get mine in 4 each 2.5ml vials for a total of 10ml. It is shipped overnight in a bag with a freeze bag. I keep one vial in the fridge along with several loaded syringes ready to go. I keep the rest in the freezer. I reorder about every 6 to 8 months and the last syringe full is just a potent as the first. As for syringes, I keep two different ones on hand. I use "easy-touch brand that come in 1/2 inch needle length (30
gauge) and 5/16 inch needle length (31 gauge). I have also found that the BD brand has a problem with the ease in which the plunger is pushed to dispense the juice. I stopped using that brand.

I always ask new guys to FT this question: Are you a veteran? If you are I can help you possibly save a ton of cash on the cost of your trimix or other ED medications. If you are a veteran PM me for details.

MD Anderson referred me to a pharmacy in CA where cost of 10 ml (2x5ml) Trimix was like $147. They told me that the shelf life is only 25 days once you open the bottle, and 60 days without opening. I had a feeling that it was a BS. I think this is a great site and will help me a lot before ordering.

Thank you flyingduck2019. No I am not a veteran. I had my prostate removed in August, and have never ordered / used Trimix. Just came back from ED doctor's appt last week. He said that since I am diabetic oral meds would not work, and I need to start with Trimix. I am looking to save cash as I lost my job too, and this was pretty expensive journey to save my life.

Please pour in your knowledge.... will greatly appreciate!!

I am also given prescription of a Urethal Gel (PGE1+Phentolamine+Lidocaine) to try. I understand from doctor's office that this is brand new product and it takes away the injection part.... 0.25ml is inserted into the urethra and penis massaged for 30 secs to give same impact like Trimix injection.

Has anyone tried it? Also, any names of compounding pharmacies that make this product will be greatly appreciated.
