I have a Dr. Kaplan model. Like $180. Also have a cheaper model I picked up at Adult bookstore. Actually prefer the cheap one. Both work great.
Diagnosed venous leak. Going with injections rather than implant for the time being.

So both of them get and keep you hard, so you can have sex?
Whats the name of the cheap one you have?

Re: OTC Vacuum pumps?
For therapy most anything that will pump up your dick will likely do. If you'll need a constriction ring to use it for sex, then a medical grade pump might be in order. The novelty pumps usually have a thinner walled tube with a fat lip on the opening to make them more comfortable. The medical grade pumps designed for use with constriction rings will have a thicker walled tube but lack the enlarged lip on the opening. The medical grade tube mouth design allows for the easier use of the constriction rings designed for use with the pumps. The rings are designed to fit over the mouth of the tube before use and then when your dick is pumped up to the desired fullness the ring is slipped off the mouth of the tube onto your dick, thereby constricting and maintaining the erection. The novelty pump tubes with the enlarged lip make sliding the ring off the tube onto your dick difficult. They are also not designed to have the ring placed on the tube prior to use. The medical grade pumps will also come with a method of placing the ring on the pump tube.
I'm sorry but I can't recommend a pump. I only have experience with one medical grade pump and a couple of novelty pumps. Both of the novelty pumps I've had would be sufficient for therapy but neither were designed for or practical for use with constriction rings.

You want a medical grade VED. Personally, I prefer to buy mine directly from web sites that deal in medical items rather than Amazon or Ebay. I have seen some of these companies sell on Amazon and/or Ebay.
I use an Encore Deluxe I bought from Vitality Medical. https://www.vitalitymedical.com/encore- ... p-otc.html
I believe they sell on Amazon also.
Once you settle on a pump you should experiment with different restriction rings until you find the one(s) that work best for you.
If you search FrankTalk, you will find a ton of informative discussions about use of VED's and various restriction rings going back many years.

The medical grade system I use is the Osbon ErecAid Esteem manual pump. I don't really have any complaints with it and I've had it for quite a few years. A little part on the constriction ring applicator broke but it doesn't seem to have any effect on function. The ring applicator works well but I think it was over engineered. I like the way the manual pump works and the placement of the vacuum release button, which I think is important. I have had no desire for an electric version although they make one. I've seen other manual pumps that had pump systems I didn't like as well. I suspect there isn't as much difference in pump systems among the electric versions. Osbon ErecAid Esteem manual pump: https://www.erecaidpumps.com/osbon-erecaid-esteem-manual-on-sale/. That link is just to an example of a retailer. Prices vary substantially by retailer so check around. Prices for the electric version shouldn't be much more than the manual version if that's your preference. This is the product I have experience with. I have no experience with the other brands and models of medical grade pumps so I can't give a comparison or make any claim that the one I use is the best.
A Frank Talk site supporter, found on the left hand side of this page, The Urology Health Store (https://www.urologyhealthstore.com/) also markets a medical grade device. I have no experience with it.
There are other good brands but I don't have any experience with them so I'll leave it to others to report on those.
Good luck.

Re: OTC Vacuum pumps?
I have the Vacurect and the Encore pump. I have not had much success with the Vacurect brand. It just does not seem
to work for me. You have to use a restriction ring that will keep your penis hard but with the Vacurect system trying to pump
your penis hard through a small restriction ring is not easy for you or your penis. With the Encore system I use the battery
powered pump and it does a good job of creating a hard cock, but you need to practice and get used to it. The one negative
of the Encore system is that when you slide the constriction ring on your hard cock, it is gonna snap and it is gonna hurt.
With the help of Another Old Man, I found out you can used a penis sleeve and this greatly helps with the tight restriction
rings. there is not the snap of the ring and the ring does not hurt as much when having it on. I think everyone has their own
preference on pumps, just make sure you get a good medical grade pump if you are gonna use it often. Your cock is not cheap,
don't use a cheap pump........
