Starting Cycling Yesterday-Coloplast Titan XL26CM-Dr. Clavell

I had the Coloplast Titan XL26cm installed on Dec 29th by Dr. Jonantha Clavell in Houston and got the ok to start cycling yesterday and I'm pretty happy with the results so far.

-My length and girth are the same as before the implant.
-It cycles up to rock hard in 15-20 seconds...And I mean rock hard. I've heard some guy complain that their post-implant erection kind of points down....I'm not sure what Dr. Clavell did, but mine points up at the sky. No exaggeration, hard a steel pipe and trying to poke me in the eyeball...Even more so than when I was a teenager.

Dr. Clavell has been great throughout the entire process and is super responsive to texts and calls. I normally hear back from him within minutes of sending a text. I highly recommend anyone considering an implant to set up a time to interview with him.

My recovery wasn't actually all that bad. The implant is 60-70% inflated so having a semi 24/7 was pretty annoying the first three weeks, but you get used to it. I hardly noticed it the last couple of weeks. I did find wearing just one pair of underwear didn't work very well....So I bought 2 pairs of Haines Atheltic Boxer Briefs...Don't know the exact name, but they are kind of like biker shorts. I normally wear size 34, but bought some 42's, pulled them way up (think atomic wedgy) to keep the balls up, then folded the top over the gland so it wasn't sticking out the top of my pants...Then I bought some 32's, pulled them up like the atomic wedgy again, then folded the top under my balls....This gave me support all the way around. If you don't keep your balls up high the stretching it causing on your stitches is really uncomfortable.

They shave you bald down there so when the hair starts to grow back, you'll feel like you are getting whacked by a cactus when you are walking around at times. In the first 3-4 weeks, your testicles will be really swollen to the point that 1-3 inches of your shaft will be "hidden" by the swelling...So your penis will look pretty pathetic, but once the swelling subsides you'll start to see the full shaft. I must have sent 10 "panic text" to Dr. Clavell the first couple of weeks, but he assured me not to worry...He was correct.

I got the Penoscrotal implant.

Before getting the implant I used Viagra which was very effective...It never failed me once over the past 5 years or so, but having to wait the 30min-45min for it to kick in was a pain in the ass. I should have done the implant years ago...Now it's ready to go in seconds...Anytime, anywhere, for whatever reason. It's like I'm a teenager again.

Tony I am glad to hear you had a great experience with Dr. Clavell. I had a very simular experience with my surgery he was excellent. In fact I came in from out of town roughly a 3 hour drive to have him do my surgery. I have emailed him four months post surgery and he still answers promptly. If I had to do it again I will go back to Dr. Clavell he was and remains excellent. Both the wife and I are enjoying the new toy as often as we can.

Good news you can cycle so soon. I have the same implant but my healing was terrible and long. I didn't cycle like I should have because of the pain it caused me, so lost some length.
