Question regarding alprostadil/mono mix strength??

I’m just confuse about alprostadil strength, Beacause in india we are getting 500 mcg alprostadil inj and it says 2.5 mcg initial dose then 5 mcg and so on. So I’m bit confuse about it’s strength and how much it messure in units???

Has anybody have heard 500 mcg inj, you can google it alprostadil in india

Is the 500mcg in a vial or a single injection? I'm using about 20mcg of alprostadil in each injection. Like you said, I started with 5mcg, which did almost nothing. Then 10, 15, and finally 20.

Just of curiosity, what is the reason for your ED? How long do 10 mcg vs 20 mcg keep you hard?

I have pretty bad veinous leak. I get great inflow blood, even without the injection, but it just doesn't stay and the erection deflates instantly. With the injection, it gets firmer but still not as hard as I would like. It stays that way for about 30 minutes or until I orgasm. I think I'm going to try trimix next and hope to get a better result than the 20mcg alprostadil.

What form is it in? Is it a dry powder or tablet that must be dissolved in saline? Is it already a liquid in a vial? Do you have a link to whatever it is?

If it is I'm guessing it's one vial of one ml at 500mcg per ml in saline. If that's the case I think I'd be wanting some more vials and injection quality saline. I'd be diluting it, and being very careful and sterile in the process. I'd then freeze it as that is a fair amount and would likely go bad if not frozen.

I would hope you're under some sort of doctors supervision and will be provided instructions. You need to be under a doctors supervision.

I'm going to assume your alprostadil will be the same drug as what I use. My alprostadil is dispensed at 80mcg per ml. I'm currently using 14,as measured on a U-100 insulin syringe. My poor math skills seem to indicate my 14 units works out to be in the neighborhood of 11mcg of alprostadil. My non professional suggestion to a new user would be to start out at about 4 units of my 80mcg/ml mix. This would give a dose of a bit over 3mcg of alprostadil. In most cases I wouldn't expect such a dose to be sufficient but using caution when starting can save you from a priapism and a trip to the hospital. Your mix, if at 500mcg/ml would about 6 times as strong as my mix. I don't think it would be possible to measure out 3 to 4 mcg of alprostadil at that 500mcg/ml strength. I think I'd want to dilute a 500mcg/ml mix down to at least 100mcg/ml. That would make dosing much easier. If you want a 4mcg dose you would then draw up 4 units (.04ml). Additionally, the more diluted the mix the less it hurts when injecting. If I inject my mix quickly, even at 80mcg/ml, I will get pain. I have to inject slowly, that way I avoid pain. If you'll be injecting such small amounts you'll want syringes that only hold .3cc.

@bldoink I really appreciate your help, its really help full So could you please answer couple of more questions?

1) As you know my strength is 500mcg so that mean I should diluted with 4ml saline right?
2) if i do this my starting dose should be 5 unit rt? or 10 bit confuse cuz my strength is 500mcg which is pretty high.
3) which syringe should i use u-100 insulin 100 units or u-100 insulin 30 unit syringe??
