I was prescribed Tri-Mix 10 - Alprostadil/Pavaverine HCL/Phentolamine Mesylate 10MCG/12MG/1MG/ML on 7/30/21 with 10 units (0.1 mL) the recommended amount.
For the first injection, I took my Physicians advice and started with only .05 mL or 5 units. My wife watched and cringed. Even though she has been a diabetic for 47 years, she still hates needles. I was surprised how little it hurt and how tough the first layer under the skin was.
I massaged the medication throughout my cock and then left it alone as we got ready. 20 minutes later, I had a 100% erection without my usual 2" silicon ring. The 100% erection lasted 60 minutes and putting the cock ring on increased that another 30, but my stamina gave out before orgasm. Noticed the glans only 50% hard throughout. Manual stimulation would still not achieve orgasm.
I still call it a huge success! Almost that whole time was spent in active intercourse or oral stimulation. Haven't done that in years.
With this dose, cost is $.98 per shot. And everyone said it was expensive!?!? My plan is to maintain this dose, monitor results and increase by .01 mL if the time or hardness starts to diminish.
Comments? Thoughts on the lack of orgasm?

Welcome to the forum.
Congratulations on your success. Yes, the injections are pretty darn cheap for most guys unless sourced from one of those "Men's Health Clinics" or you're on Edex, etc. with no insurance coverage or you need a humongous dose, which you obviously don't.
I don't know what your history is as far as being able to orgasm. Can you easily orgasm without an injection. I can't get there at all flaccid and I get no erection without an injection, so injections it is. I've never been one to suffer from P.E., even pre RRP, but I have had trouble orgasming since starting injections but that also coincides with having an RRP prostate removal with nerve damage (cancer in the margins). For that reason I can't make a correlation between the anorgasmia (difficulty reaching orgasm) and injections. I just don't know. I can get there but it is much more difficult. Nerve damage or injections???
However, other injection users have also reported some anorgasmia with injections. I do try to use the least amount of injection juice as possible to get the job done.

Thanks! Mine was sourced through a US compounding pharmacy and was cheaper for cash than my insurance co-pay!

I used to be able to cum easily (even if only 50-75% hard) until I was prescribed Desvenlafaxine last year for depression. I lost a granddaughter on Thanksgiving, wife was diagnosed with DCIS breast cancer (all good now), work pressure and COVID anxiety due to wife's immunosuppression (kidney transplant), etc.. It was nearly impossible to orgasm while on that shit. Gave it up, went to a therapist for a couple of months and finally retired last week. I am hoping stress and anxiety reduction will return that to normal.
