So I had a misfire last night, and I believe it's because I was less "full" than usual when I injected and I felt a sting in my urethra, which means I'm pretty sure I went through. It's really hard to find reliable information about what depth this thing should be going to in order to get inside where it needs to be. The manual says to calibrate to 6mm, but that sure looks small and makes me worry "will I get deep enough?" but how far "deep" is the area to hit anyway?
Do any of you adjust the depth based on fullness? Looking for some tips.
I'd really like to mentally get to a place where I can just inject without it. I inject my legs every week with Testosterone, but my dick is a different mental scenario. I doubt it feels the same going in as the needle going into my thigh given how many people talk about "punching through." That seems like something that would be hard to get mentally past...

Re: Autoject EI depth
I don't have any experience with the autoinjectors other than I bought one and after looking at it and experimenting with it (not on my dick) I decided not to use it. However, I have done the T-shots and I think the T-shots are considerably more painful than the dick stick with the tiny little needle, which for me is a 31g 5/16 needle. My old huge needles from the T-shots I use for gluing stuff or I grind the tip flat so it isn't dangerous and use them for precise applications of oil for guns or electric motors, etc.

My intro to Trimix was via an Autoeject El. Setting depends on type of syringe. I used a 1/2inch 50unit EasyTouch syringe with the "short" barrel - markings are j, k, l, m, n... I was "taught" to set it at ~m which should equate to ~8mm. You should have a "primer/depth gauge".
If it helps, I see that you want to make the leap to manual injections... have faith, it will happen. I have a phobia about needles - thus I was ok with Trimix in an auto injector because I didn't see the needle go into my cock and didn't really feel it either (unless I missed, which happened). Some of the misses were not great because I am "veiny" if that makes sense and the resulting bruises were not good. I began manual injections a couple of months ago and have been pleased with results. Since I suffer from some "essential tremor" I find the 1/2" syringe more reliable. Last time I used a 5/16", half of the dose must have ended up between the first fascia and the tunica - not good feeling.
