9 MONTHS INTO MY IMPLANT
9 MONTHS INTO MY IMPLANT
hey guys and dolls my implant is the best thing that I could have ever done. I lost the ability to get an erection using Viagra and all the rest and I was dead in the water. So wife and I diecussed it and I had it done. Was a slow process to be able to pump it all the way up for the first 3 weeks after sergury. Two pumps up let it down 3 pumps hold it pain was not nice but each day of pumping it up a little more and letting it stay up longer by the end of the forth week I could pump it all the way up and leave it. Into the 5th week Dr released me to have sex. I had 6 1/2 inches when it would get hard on its own. After sergury when I pumped it up I only had 4 1/2 I said oh no. But gentlemen over time using it every day to have sex or just to pump it up it is now 5 3/4 long and like a piece of steel and it gets the wife off as much as she wants. I can cum and keep going. I have all the feeling as before did not loose anything in sensitivity. When I cum it is like before. I hope anyone reading this that is thinking on having it done I say hell yes your sex life will be back to you being 21 yrs old again. So it is a bit shorter but what good is a bigger dick if it wont get hard. My wife loves it and so do I. Good luck guys......................Max

Re: 9 MONTHS INTO MY IMPLANT
Hi Max,
Thanks for sharing your story of the very positive effect your Penile Implant has had on your life.
I am a fellow happy Implant recipient.
I was implanted with the Coloplast Titan in December 2007 after developing ED Post-Prostatectomy in 2004.
None of the "standard" ED Treatment Modalities had worked to my satisfaction.
My wife and I are very happy about my decision to be implanted.
It restored both our sex life and emotional intimacy.
I would do it again in a heart-beat.
Best of Luck,
Bob

Re: 9 MONTHS INTO MY IMPLANT
Hey Bob before I had the implant my confidence as a man was so low not being able to get it up. I was 50 when It would not work much then at 55 no hard on at all. After the surgery my manhood is back. I have the confidence of a bull I were tight jeans and pump it up a bit and when I go out women and Men always sneek a peek. My wife loves it because she sees the man she married once again walking tall and knowing that he has the best dick in the place instead the worst one that did not work
Re: 9 MONTHS INTO MY IMPLANT
Very well put Max!!!
I know exactly how you now feel and, also, how you felt before your Penile Implant.
Regaining your manhhod is a wonderful feeling.
Best of luck.

Re: 9 MONTHS INTO MY IMPLANT
Max,
You are so right. It might be smaller, but the fact that it works anytime and every time you want is such a confidence builder. My wife says she feels like a newlywed. I would recommend implant surgery to any man who has reached the end of the ED road. Do your homework, find a good surgeon, and get it done. It's not pain free or cheap, but well worth it.

55 years old. ED since 2002 total venous leakage after penile fracture. Tried all the pills and injections all failed to help. Some success with VED, but felt too unnatural to both of us, seldom used. Implanted 06/21/12. Trying to wear IT out.
Re: 9 MONTHS INTO MY IMPLANT
I am interested in any info on how to make the penis longer after surgery when you have a AMS LGX implant. Different types of techniques used? Thank you

Re: 9 MONTHS INTO MY IMPLANT
Rodend,
Like you , I am about 9 months post-op, LGX. And, I have read many posts on here about how to deal with things after implantation of an inflatable penile device. I pump daily, usually about 35 cycles, and develop an erection that is about 5.5 inches (was 7.5" before radical prostatectomy 42 mos. ago). My issue now, is that the penile girth is so much more decreased, over my pre-op VED girth size. And, over the past 9 months, I have not seen any improvement in that girth. At 35 cycles pumped, the erection is very firm, somewhat painful, and angles sharpely ""up" at the head of the penis. The penile glans gets no engorgement either, so it becomes a very strange appearing erection. It is well known that a woman's best sensitivity with intercourse originates from a man's girth, versus length. For me, I come up short on both accounts, and wonder if it will ever change over time.
Yes, it is functional, and obviously, an improvement over what my wife and I had to deal with before the implant surgery. But, at this point, it is still very disappointing for me.
And advice anyone has to address this issue, is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
