Penile Implant Surgeon in Europe

Postby Walther » Sun Jan 09, 2022 9:08 am

Dear community,

this is my first post here as I just discovered FT recently. First of all thanks for all the information you are sharing here, it definitely helps a lot!

I am suffering from ED now since 2 years without any success of beating it with pills, injections and psychological therapy.
I'm still young, 29yo, and came to the conclusion that I don't want to waste any more of my youth without a fulfilled sex life and go for a penile implant. This has also been laid out to me as an option by my urologist.

I am living in Austria, Europe, and my question to the community would be if anyone knows a specialist surgeon within Europe or maybe even in Austria or Germany. If you don't know of any, also some advice on how to find out if the surgeon is an expert in this field would be appreciated.

I do realise odds are limited that anyone here would be familiar with those but there are two surgeons here in Austria specialised in penile implants, namely Dr. Margreiter and Dr. Kuehhas. So naturally feedback/experience on those doctors would be especially appreciated.

Of course that will be a huge step for me and I want it to be done by an absolute expert. However I am currently kind of lost on who that doctor should be and how to find that out.

Thank you very much in advance!

I have heard negative things about Kuehhas. He used to work in London.

The most prominent implant surgeon in the UK is Professor David Ralph. He is more experienced than virtually all the names you’ll see posted here on FT. He still performs over 200 a year I believe but he’s winding down. I’ve heard nothing but good reviews about his skill and patient outcomes.

I’m sure there are other surgeons of note within the EU but I don’t know of any, personally, that rival the expertise and experience of Ralph. Do some research and you’ll see he’s most likely a good bet. Affordable too as compared to the ludicrous prices I see coming out of the States.

Finally, I’m sorry you’re going through this. It’s truly hell.

You may also want to consider prof. Antonini from Rome, he uses infrapubic approach and he is very skilled
26yo from Italy. Psychogenic ed since dec 2019, got worse in Jan 2021. On Cialis 5mg every 24hrs, it works! But masturbation and sex bring me a lot of anxiety. On talk-therapy.
Update: diagnosed with slight Peyronie’s, investigating more on that

Thanks a lot for the answers/recommendations, especially the warning about Dr. Kuehhas. I had already scheduled an appointment with him for end of the months so the warning came at the right time still!

I have continued doing research on surgeons in the meantime as well, and came across Dr. Osmonov in Germany who seems to be one of the best in Europe. Would anyone have some information on how many implants he is doing per year, maybe even had an implant done by him and how much he charges?

Hey man,

Can you not simply email or call his team and request that information?

Certainly you’d be able to find out how many he performs a year and the cost.

I was able to get this information with regards to Prof. Ralph with a quick email to his secretary.

Good luck! Do let us know what info you gather. It’s important to have information pertaining to all the top implant surgeons in Europe.

For some of the infos yes (costs and how many implants a year), I already reached out via mail to Dr. Osmonov to clarify - waiting for a reply currently.

Will give an update here as soon as I get feedback.

As of personal experience I dropped a message to "Youngmen" here on FT, as I saw he had it done by Osmonov but of course any additional feedback from the round would be highly welcomed.

If you go to the main implant page, use the search bar and type osmonov.

A couple of pages come up. Maybe you can use those threads to track down the people who have experience with him.
