Cock rings
A question for those who have used a cock ring or similar devise. What was the reaction of your wife or GF? The few times I wore one, my wife didn't like it. said it felt funny on her pelvic area and also it hindered foreplay.

Re: Cock rings
I have experimented with some in the past. One was a metal alloy ring that went around the base of my penis. I believe it was labeled "Alchemy Ring" on the packaging. I did a decent job eyeball-sizing it at the sex shop I got it from. It gave a nice engorgement when erect. About an extra, temporary 1/2" or so in erect girth and lots of veins. I did not like how dark it made my penis though. My wife did not care for how the edema (fluid buildup in the skin) felt. Said it felt "squishy". Similar to how a penis can feel if you over pump.

shipper222001,
If you believe that a cock ring is necessary ... then explain it to her (it helps maintain erection) I'm not sure what kind you were using, but try shaving/trimming the area so you can slide it up as far as possible. Shaving/trimming prevents the short hairs from getting tangled ...
There are many kinds you can use that are effective ... without getting in the way. You can search "erection ring" at Amazon.

I no longer need a cockring. I use Trimix injections and that gives me an erection for 2 hours

Re: Cock rings
Cock rings are great. They help maintain erections - whether natural or chemically induced. They also tend to increase stimulation which helps with arousal issues that many guys experience when using injections. For best results, use them around the whole package...behind scrotum and over penis.
If they are not fun - then you aren't using the right ones...or using them right.

I also use Trimix; however, I am concerned that if I inject too often, I may develope scarring. Accordingly, I use a cock ring on non Trimix days. In this regard I use Trimix about once a week and my Osbon tension band about three times a week. Unfortunately, the constriction causes my penis to start loosing sensitivity and feel numb after 10 minutes and needs to be removed every 20 to 30 minutes in order to avoid problem due to lack of circulation.
I find it difficult to orgasm when using constriction due to low sensitivity and pressure on the urethra; however, the "unfulfilled" intercourse really gets me primed for the big orgasim on Trimix days.
You can push the Osbon band close into your fat pad so it is barely noticeable. Also, when pushed in, it tends to hold in your fat pad such that you can actually gain more usable length. I gain more than 1/2 inch of additional erect length.

Re: Cock rings
I have tried cock rings before. They work but they're very uncomfortable (don't wear one for more than 30 minutes, it may cause severe lesions!) and your partner will see them, of course.

Re: Cock rings
guys,
Just wanted to double check terminology we are using. The constriction bands that come with medical vacuum pumps are NOT usually considered cock rings. Cock rings are usually adjustable, or super stretchy or metal rings. The most comfortable by far, are the super stretchy ones that go around the scrotum and the penis. They should be comfortable, pleasant - and even help with arousal issues.
Only if you really need the very tight constriction of a medical constriction band, should you use one. Always use the least constricting ring that still works.
Cock rings should be fun - there are lots of jelly ones with vibrators on them...some even have two vibrators above and below the penis. They are great introductory sex toys for men. They will usually really enhance your orgasm. Try them!
