Some thoughts for a biginner

Age 84. No sexual activity for the past 5 years due to wife's failing health. Oral Meds were becoming less and less effective prior to then. Now ready to get active again.

Current Prescription is Papaverine HCL / Phentolamine Mesylate / Prostaglandin E1 (150mg/5mg/50mcg). Recommended dosage to start was 5 units increasing by 3 unit amounts until I achieve satisfactory results. 5, 8, 11, brought absolutely no results. First notice of change came at 14 units with a hardness of maybe 3 out of a 10 and lasting for maybe 20 min. Have continued to increase dosage by 3 units and am now up to 26 and still with the 3 out of 10 and 20 min results.

Any ideas from you experienced Injectors?? At 84 do I need to consider that I will never get better results?

With that high a prescription and poor results I'm afraid Trimix will not be the answer.

I finally had to quit Trimix when 70 units of 100/6/30 wasn't really working, and the pain lasted for two days afterward. Can't imagine using your dosage. Like 68CatFan said, Trimix may not be the answer.

Assuming you're getting it in the correct spot, my only suggestion would be to add novelty/sex shop cock rings. The proper ring can help hold the juice in a bit longer to hopefully give it more chance to take effect.

Got up to 80 units when I was injecting Trimix to get any response after about 4 years. Hurt the next day. Moved up to Quadmix, that worked great for a few months before having to up the dose again. When the injections started to fail a cock ring helped a bit.
I had a problem hitting the right spot sometimes, which left me with no erection. A doppler showed the blood was coming in fine but leaving quicker. A ring helped it stay in longer.
