I'm 32yo. I have mild to moderate ED due to injury. My parents found a 24yo girl for marriage. I am talking with her for 3 months. She is understand everything, intellectual, educated and gorgeous girl.
Because of my ED issue I'm psychogenic. I think, my ED embarrassed me after marriage and create issues in my life. I'm mentally so weak. I cannot take any decision.
But now I have decided that I share everything with her about my mental and sexual problem. And ask her to decide that accept me or leave me with my health condition. I think this can relax me mentally. Please give me your kind suggestions.

hi bro yeah you should tell her but do it with confidence and not too soon (perhaps better time would be when you two are starting to get physical but not quite to point of sex). when do you plan to get married?

She is about to be your partner in life. Also, consider that your ED is JUST AS IMPORTANT to her as it is to you. Share EVERYTHING with her that you are feeling. Not just the mechanics and hydraulics of the matter, but how you are made to feel (as a man) when you can and when you cannot achieve an erection and what that does to your ability to express your feelings, especially to her and particularly physically/sexually.

Women are incredibly supportive when they feel respected, trusted and safe. If you don't level with her, she cannot feel respected and trusted. Make it so.

If you really feel like your ED is trult psychogenic, try taking some pills like viagra or cialis. Dont look at it as a permanent solution. Take it long enough to start being confidant again. I agree with the previous posters. Shes about to be your wife so confiding in her is a wise decision.

If youre scared of her reaction, just own it. You are taking all the steps you can to solve this problem. She will respect that. Remember shes your WIFE not a one night stand.

Seek therapy and urology but be open to everything. Your problem could be psychological but maybe not. Therapists are helpful but sometimes they think they have more knowledge in this area than doctors. You can use Ed pills even if it is psych based. There are psych pills that can help if it’s psych based but watch out for Ed side effects. Be aware as you go through the process that pills can be overridden by anxiety but injections usually aren’t. If it is physically based a lot of guys find that the injections work for a while and then don’t.
Bottom line, get a good therapist, urologist and psychiatrist.

I couldn't tell her about my problem. I have reached the point to leave her now. I cannot bear 24/7 overthinking episodes about the ED. or leave this world is another option for me.
