A big hello to everyone!

Thank god I found this Website!!

Short history of my ED

I Have been a sufferer of ED all my life!
up until the age of 30 I Suffered in silence, since then have tried without success
Viagra
Cialis
Levitra
Proviron
Test replacement therapy
Have just started with caverject 40mcg without any good results, even under frustration
Injected 40mcg into each side of the penis!

Urologist has now provided a prescription for a pump, which I pick up today!

Do the pumps actually work??

Can they be used with caverject injections?

Basically I don't know where to turn next if this doesn't work!

Am 35 years of age, and sick of failed relationships because of ED

Thanks for your time, and hopefully I can get answers and make friends on this site

M.

Welcome,
You might want to find a uro that specializes in ED. There are test you need to find out what is causing your ED.

Welcome.
I agree with Buck.
Make an appointment with a URO who specializes in the treatment of ED.
He or She will probably run a Penile Doppler and other tests to determine the root cause of you problem.
There are several treatment options available, including Trimix Injections and Penile Implant.
I suggest you read the posts of FT members on these and other treatments.
Personally, I underwent the Coloplast Titan Penile Implant Procedure in December 2007 and it completely corrected my ED.
I'm sure other FT members would be willing to share their treatment experiences also.
Hope to see you in the Chat Room.
Best of Luck,

Bob

The greatest part is you are no longer suffering in silence. I too have suffered from ED all of my life. I can sympathize with you about failed relationships and know the mental anguish that ED can and does cause. It is too bad the Viagra and other drugs did not work for you. They worked 80 percent of the time for me for about ten years but have almost stopped being predictable. You are still young-I would try the TriMix and the pump. The pump will work-whether you will like it or not will be your decision. Many men use it successfully and if the TriMix works-you will love the results. As far as testing to find the reason for your ED, my doctor told me that regardless of the cause, there was not much they could do to remedy it but I have always wondered why? Why me? and I am sure you do also. I have been had every test imaginable and still no explanation. I have gone to a phsychiatrist and done therapy for two years which was a great help in dealing with the mental issues the ED caused throughout the years. I elected to skip the injections and go straight to the implant-at the age of 53, I hope to finally be able to feel like the man God intended me to be. I wish you the best and am glad you are reaching out for help. Jim

Hello M.
The pump does work for the most part. The problem my wife and I had was that we could never quite work using the pump into our sex play and found that it interfered with our pleasure. So we opted for the implant... which I think just looks acts and feels so much more natural.
Good luck.
55 years old. ED since 2002 total venous leakage after penile fracture. Tried all the pills and injections all failed to help. Some success with VED, but felt too unnatural to both of us, seldom used. Implanted 06/21/12. Trying to wear IT out.
