4 hours post op

Had a Coloplast installed at 7am, then one hour recovery and back at motel room by 10. Whew!! What a morning! Didn’t get info sheet as to what size so will have to report back after one week check up. Dr left me maybe 1/2 pumped so not much pressure. Just wrapped up like a mummy with my gland sticking out to pee. No pain meds yet, saving them for tonight. Really only pain is when I try to set up or stand up. Can’t use abdominal muscles without very sharp pain. I can see the resivor about 4 inches up and 2” over toward my pelvic bone . I previously had hernia surgery so said it would not be completely in my abdominal wall. Cause wrap is holding the man at about 3:00 and has the pump poking out dead center in the bottom of my scrotum. Can feel the whole round part of pump Anxious for this month to get over with so I can use this thing for what it was intended for. My anniversary is June 28th so that’s my goal which would be 5 weeks and 4 days to be able to use without too much pain or issues. Will post up in a day or two after follow up. Please use the pain meds, stay ahead of the pain. You still have the meds from the hospital in you but it will start to wear off. Ice, Ice and Ice to keep swelling down.

I got to use mine for first time on our 25th Anniversary Weekend about 7 weeks post op. I quote ".....its time to put your new toy away." We had a great weekend!

Congrats on becoming bionic! As said, once you heal up you'll be a happy man. Don't rush it too quick though, I was 19 days out from our anniversary after getting implanted. Sex was good, but the ache after wasn't. And that wasn't even full penetration.
