Onset time vs duration - a lesson I learned

Postby slipnslider » Thu May 26, 2022 1:11 pm

I've been using trimix for almost 2 years now and have learned a few things about it.

One lesson it took me too long to learn was controlling dosage. I thought I needed about 8 units, which would get me really hard and made for some great sex, but it lasts too long. Like 3-4 hours and sex usually lasts only 30 minutes or so. So then I was stuck with this stubborn erection for hours which was kind of embarrassing, and made it so I couldn't go anywhere or do anything besides sit around and try to hide it.

I would sometimes try to use a lower dose so that it wouldnt last as long, but then my penis wouldn't get as hard as fast as it did the larger dose and I'd panic, thinking I had mis-fired or not used enough. My fear of not being erect would overtake my common sense, and I'd do a second smaller injection which would get me super hard, but then of course it would last way too long as usual.

So the lesson I've finally learned is - a lower dose (5 units or so) is enough for me to get a great erection, but it takes longer to kick in, and requires more massaging to activate it. I just needed to be patient. Also I was afraid of being not TOTALLY erect and ready to go as soon as sex began, like I would be with a higher dose. With the lower dose, I might still be semi soft, but then sexual arousal would get me the rest of the way there. And then after sex, my erection will fade much quicker and allow me to get back to normal life.

Maybe this will be useful info for some people who are just getting started with trimix.
44, ED problems began around age 28 when I was on finasteride for hair loss, and also got circumcised so I lost a lot of sensation. Pills gave me bad headaches and other side effects. Now using trimix 30/1/20. So far so good.

i just started trimix in Feb, but for me, i found that i like that bigger dose only because my wife is more than happy to have sex for 3-4 hours. i dont mean to toot my own horn but only because even in my younger days i was never able to go that long. as i continue to use it, i will go down to a smaller dose, i mean she cant go one wanting sex for that long right? it did take me a while to to find that right dose and having those misfires where i didnt really miss. we are all different, its a journey and just find what works for you.

At 5 units how long does it take to be fully usable?

I'm new to injections. Using 15 units takes about 5 minutes just to start to be noticeable, and about 15 minutes to fully ready for action.

Used Viagra for 10+ years with mixed success.
In May 2022 started using Trimix with very good results.
Feb 2023 developed PD
2023 still in treatment for PD, and still using Trimix with very good results

If I use 8-10 units, I'm almost painfully hard in about 5 minutes without much massaging.

If I dial it back to 5 units, it takes more like 10 minutes to take effect, and requires a lot more massaging.

If I were a single man and trying to hide the fact that I was injecting, I would go with the larger dose so it would take effect quicker and I wouldn't have to be in the bathroom as long. But my partner knows I inject so she knows what I'm in there doing.

I'd love to go that long but my partner, though gorgeous, is lazy, and I have to do all the work. I can't do a 3-4 hour workout. Also I become kind of tender and sore after my first orgasm and am not really interested in another round.

As others have said... you've found the right mix that works for you. I prefer to go lower since we only last ~45-60 min, and I don't like the 3-4 hr aching chubby. Besides- waiting 5 -15 min is better than nothing at all.

I've also learned that you may get different results from each vial of juice. I've assumed that each new refill has the same dosage in each vial, but I've been wrong. Some of them I need more juice, others not so much. So with each new vial I go low until I see what it does.
Two weeks ago I had a vial which I needed 15-18 units to get a serviceable chubb; I got a new vial out of the freezer this week and found I only need 10-12 units. These were from the same refill.

Saddle up and ride...

This exactly. Every vial is wildly different. Bad quality control at some compounding pharmacies for sure.

I haven't found that inconsistency between batches from my pharmacy. I would find that troubling.
