IPP done; only one side placed.

Due to scaring only one tube would go in. Doc says it will still work just fine. Has anyone else had or heard of this? Comments appreciated.

Sorry to hear that ... yes I've heard of it but it is very rare ... was your scar tissue problem discussed beforehand?

It is partially inflated and has a slight bend to the right due to only an implant on the left side. But it is hard. I won't be able to tell much until the swelling goes down. Hopefully by this weekend.

Yes, Steve
I've not only heard of it, but actually gave my doc the ok to do it, if he couldn't get a cylinder into the right side. I have quite a bit of scarring on that side. He also assured me that it would work fine. But as it turned out he was able to put in both cylinders, however I can actually feel that the right side doesn't inflate quite as wide as the left. My penis also has a slight twist to that side, but gets really hard, and my wife is happy. Good luck on your recovery.

Thanks. Although it seems odd having only one tube in, just from the partial inflation of the one, I think it will be just fine. I can tell that it will definitely be "stuffable" which I wasn't before.

That's what I thought even when the doctors told me that was what I had... It happened during intercourse. My wife was on top and it slipped out and when she thrust downward again it just folded over and popped. The pain was excruciating.. I went to the hospital the next day when the pain wouldn't go away and my penis, testicles and entire pubic area were the color of an eggplant. That was basically the last time I had a natural erection. So although there is no bone in there it can break. :o
