extra Sildenafil

The customary stated max dose for Sildenafil is 100mg. What experience is here using higher doses? 120mg? 140mg? 200mg?

I have always limited myself to the "rule" i.e. 100mg. But tried a couple extra (20mg tabs...to total of 140mg) and it seemed to make a notable improvement. Maybe just in my head so what have others experienced?

some generics sildenafil are 100 mg corresponding to 140.48 sildenafil citrate, I take 2 of 50, 70.24x2 = 140.48 citrate, plus 2 tabs of 20 mg citrate = 180 sildenafil citrate, with a 100 corresponding to 140, 48 citrate is not good at all, it is not your impression, it is much better to take more than the maximum allowed, the important thing not to overcome the side effects you can bear

Sorry, I don't have a clue what you are saying. When I refer to Sildenfil, I'm simply referring to what my pharmacist gives me based on my doctor's script.

But you seem to be saying....take as much as you can w/o pain and, Yes, I will see a difference. So that's a green light to try more...whatever it's called.

Well, I have answered my question to my satisfaction. After always limiting myself to the 100mg max dose limit, have tried 140mg twice and it makes enough difference to continue at this level. In other words, at least for me, Sildenafil does not plateau at 100mg.

Started using sildenafil in 2005 and it worked pretty good for about three years at 5o mg. But always caused reflux so I started using tums regularly but gradualy lost effectness a so i increased the dose to 75 then 100 to get a good erection not great mind you so I increased to 150 and the erection got better but the heartburn a headaches became unbareable after ten years. Tums became too nessary and dangerous from overuse and calcium deposits kidneystones calcium signs in the prostate. wow too much. My throat doctor said I had gerd, prebarrets syndrom and had radiowave treatment not something to take lightly. I now use injections, which work pretty good. Two years in. Not giving advice just saying be careful. Pde5s can work good be aware of dangers.
