If you're pre-implant and feel bad, read this
I've had a Titan for over a year now. I had to go through some old e-mails from a few years ago, when I was really struggling with the ED. No- I wasn't struggling. ED began to DEFINE my life, my identity, my existence. Just glancing through those old e-mails, which had nothing to do with ED (work, logistics), sent a cold shot of sadness down my spine. I remember how BAD that was. I don't dwell on it now. Why would I? But pre-implant, the last few years of my life were completely different than now. Sure, not everything is fixed in my life. It's not perfect. But its a completely different, unimaginably better world on the other side of that implant. For you younger guys (under 40-45), have hope. Find the right doc, find the insurance, find the funding etc. Make it happen. Its not easy (God, I know). If you're American, it can be frustrating as hell with insurance and extortionist hospital bills (!!!). If you're European or Canadian, your frustration may be more over wait times. FIND A WAY. You will be so grateful later. Your new self (yet to be born), will thank you.

Thanks a lot, what exactly had changed in your life, from depressed to happy again? or do you mean your self esteem raised? Do you feel like complete again, because now I feel like a big part of me is missing

I second that!! I was effected by ED in ways I only now can see, in hindsight.
It really is transformative to have a confident erection on demand for as long as needed. To know...
no diet restrictions or worries how it will effect the pill
Drink up! You could be comatose and still rock hard
no timing required (gotta have sex now!)
no needle prick (w occasional explanation that bruise its NOT a STI)
no prescriptions
It looks/feels different to me, but I've "shared my secret" with a couple of very experienced partners and they had no idea. Dicks come in a lot of shapes and sizes

Re: If you're pre-implant and feel bad, read this
I had dealt with Peyronie's and ED for so many years, I didn't realize how it ruled my life. Having a dick that didn't work was debilitating and affected my self-image, self-confidence, personality, social interactions and kept me from exploring potential sex partners. A limp dick will cause difficulties in any relationship, especially when you are gay, since our culture is so dick centric. I now feel like a whole man. I have more confidence; I enjoy people more and don't avoid possible sexual encounters. I simply feel better about being "me." Being able to have sex whenever I want, as often and long as I want still amazes and thrills me, even a year and half out! To say that the implant was/is life changing doesn't begin to describe it.
20 years of severe Peyronie's plaque, 90 curve, hinging and ED. Cost me 1.5" L and 1" G.

Everything has changed. I can struggle with things, but I am not lost in a sea of despair and escapism It's night and day difference.

I was commenting in another thread about this phenomenon. It seems like everyone who gets the implant, especially us younger guys, talks about how life-changing it is and wishes they had gotten it sooner instead of struggling with partial solutions. But in every thread where someone is trying to decide if they should get an implant, dudes who haven't gotten it feel entitled to tell other people why they also shouldn't get it.
The first time I researched the implant, I didn't find FrankTalk and I ran into threads of people who hadn't gotten the implant but listed all the possible downsides. Could have gotten it 6 years ago and saved myself so many embarrassing sexual encounters, missed opportunities and anxiety. I'm so happy I got the implant this year and didn't waste any more time.
Implants are a gift, what a privilege to be alive at a time when we have the hardware and the surgical processes to not just solve ED, but get a dick upgrade.

Everyone will have a different set of changes in their life. I was not as depressed as some. My self-esteem did not suffer hardly at all (I did not actually realize I was different from other men and my sex life was pretty good-probably because I chose partners carefully). My self-esteem came from other areas of my life.
Confidence with women took a HUGE jump, but not right away. It took a year or more and a lot of practice to get THAT restored. I pretty much had forgotten how to fuck, so had a bit of re-learning to do.
The feeling of a weighty object in front of my groin was quite a joy. Made me feel as manly as doing a bench press. "Formidable" is not a term I would have used to describe myself in a sexual context.
I did not feel particularly bad before implant, but did feel a lot better post-recovery.
As I said in the beginning, every man will have a different experience (with some broad commonalities, of course). It depends greatly on your starting point. Even your starting point BEFORE ED. If you were an accomplished swordsman pre-ED, your memory of what you had lost will, of course, have a great bearing. I was not that guy, so feeling the loss of ED and the change provided by the implant does not particularly apply to me. But from my readings here, does apply to a preponderance of men here.
So, what's your baseline?

Thank you for the authentic discussion!
TRULY, ED and those who suffer the psychological impacts, often suffer silently.
FrankTalk has been such a great outlet to learn, share, and collaborate.
My only wish - is that I'd found this source and pursued implant 20-30 years ago. I do appreciate the "on-demand" feature NOW and appreciate that I do not have to worry if something will/will not work. TRULY a game changer.

Have to agree with the comments here on how much an implant changed my outlook, depression and mood.
Mid-50's and suddenly I couldn't keep an erection. Sometimes it wouldn't even start to harden. Finally asked my PCP for Viagra, it worked great for a couple years. When I couldn't get an erection with pills that was devastating because I knew of no other way. Found injections, again they worked for a couple of years then began to fail. Double depression set in then, my mood went sour, and I got nasty. Thought sex was over for good. Had not heard of implants at that time.
On a trip I saw an ad in a Las Vegas newspaper for an implant doc, back home I searched for a doc that did implants. Two years later my implant was done. As much as I had a tough recovery that thing changed my whole attitude. Now with close to three years implanted I'm upbeat, happy, and love my wife as often as possible.
