Syringe size
MY urol said that I could use either a 28G or a 30 G syringe as long as the needle is 1/2" I read on a few medical sites that 28G is better because more is injected at a time. What like to know what size syringe most of you use. Also I read that it is better to inject slowly. I haven't seen any difference if I inject fast or slowly. Any comments?

Re: Syringe size
28G was painful for me I moved to the 31g and I use 5/16 length needle. I suspece that the 1/2 would be fine too.

Is there any danger in injecting to deep? Im not thick when flaccid so my corpas may not be too thick
Re: Syringe size
One technique I use sometimes is to draw back on the plunger after inserting the needle. If I withdraw a few drops of blood, I know I'm definitely in the sweet spot. Then I just push the plunger all the way.

I, too, like the 31 guage 5/16 inch length needle....it goes in smoothly and i rarely bleed at all from the injection site.
