titan scrotal pain 3 wks out, pain still left under balls?? Prostate infection maybe?

I had a lot more intense pain and for much longer than most of you post op. Now we may know why there seems to be an infection, guessing UTI.

Roughly a week ago about 3 days in a row pain less each day before. No days without pain yet but that happens for many guys. Most of the worst pain went away and that was in my balls. This 24x7 pain burns under my balls somewhere as best I can tell. It also burns when I start to urinate. Sleeping is very difficult.

Lab does show urine RBC in the 100s. RBC normal is 0-4. See surgeon next week. There have been posts about penile implant post op prostatis, or other prostate infections, and infections elsewhere causing pain. I’m not sure it’s in my prostate but seems like it. Other posts mention CSP or pelvic pain or something.

Everything had been kept very very clean with very regular chains of fresh boxers. The implant seems to cycle like it should though about 1.5 inches lost. Some of it may come back over time doc said.


This pain wasn’t there pre op. I’ve been on sulfa post op. Incision seem fine.
Any guys have similar experiences ? Sounds in part like a urinary track infection but where did it come from?

Surgeon knows. Appt next week. Was on antibiotics but they ran out. Another sleepless night so going to try to get some.

The odds they gave for infection were so incredibly small. It could be something else like some kind of post op swelling that’s just going to take months to go down.

For actual prostate anything its well known it may take many months for prostate swelling to go down the older the guy. Ex: 80 yrs prostate swelling can take 6 months, 20 yr old 3 weeks or less sometimes

Thing is this was IPP.
