Incontinence/dribble -pre/post implant

Postby aussiePeyronies » Mon Jan 09, 2023 1:29 am

With the onset of my peyronies, I started to suffer some dribble after peeing, this seemed to get better with VED usage... It feels as though, my flaccid penis is twisted in a way, and therefore the urethra is somewhat obstructed and cannot fully release all the urine.

Has anyone experienced this? And did it improve post-implant?

Thank you!

This is a conversation you need to have with your urologist. I had a bit of a problem before and it continued after implant surgery. My local uro put me on meds that helped for a while but that is fading. Most likely as with most things there is a progression order of treatment.

Good luck going forward with this.

I never had issues before my implant with dribbling. Since my implant I always have a drop or two after peeing. I blame the catheter. Anyway, most of the time I sit to pee. When done I use a few squares of paper and milk those last few drops out. If I have to stand at a urinal, it's shake it, shake it and hope for the best.

Two urologists advised this technique: When standing, reach down under your scrotum and lift your perineum and balls. This "milks" urine from deeper inside you than just milking the penis.

I'll try that. Shaking it so long to get those last couple of drops out probably makes guys wonder if I'm masturbating. LOL

I am also using this technique. It works for me, although it can still dribble. I found that kegel exercises are good as well. The days I do them, I get little or no dribbles at all, but I forget to do them for days and sometimes weeks.

This WORKS! I've been pressing on the perineum area just under my scrotum and it feels like a pump pushing drops out!
No dribbles in my underwear for several days now!

Wish this could be a sticky for all of us "dribblers".

Lots of Kegels. I do them whenever I'm in the car or sitting at computer. Seems to help.
