An excellent article:

Nitric oxide, acetylcholine and oxytocin are mentioned as 'proerectile', let's find ways to boost these wonderful chemicals!
The ED Clinic actually sells troches that combine tadalafil + oxytocin, I would love to give those a try.
Acetylcholine is commonly sold in herbal stores but I believe I read somewhere that oral pills are useless.
An erection is a carefully orchestrated series of events controlled by the CNS. We now know that the penis is under the complete control of the CNS, both during sexual arousal and at rest. As our Working Group colleague William D. Steers has noted, any disturbance in the network of nerve pathways that connects the penis and the CNS can lead to problems with erections.
Fascinating stuff!
A hyperactive sympathetic system may cause ED problems even in the healthiest men.

Imagine a super ED drug that combined PDE-5 inhibitor + oxytocin + vitamin E!
An alpha blocker would be great too but most people wouldn't tolerate the side effects.

must be another way to counter act this hyperactive symp system
for example i remember a doc said that when you stay seated the parasymp system is higher, yoga, tai chi, what else?
acetylcholine is useless beacuse is hydrolysed too quickly w/out any effect, a sintetic form (with slow release) would be interesting (methacholine, carbachol, bethanechol)
thats why you find acetylcholine and not the others
colinergic drugs tend to increase parasymp system:

dangerous pattern i see, but very effective

I've looked and looked on this forum and elsewhere and I have never found anyone who took oxytocin and actually said anything to the effect that "it works great" in terms of libido, sex, etc. It seems to me to be one of those "nice concepts," but that is all. Seems to be one of those products pushed by those hoping to make money. Of course they will say anything to make sales.
