Day 3 of Titan implant - size concern (answered)

Hi all…. I am really concerned because after being cleared to leave the hospital my semi inflated penis is 1/2 the size it would normally be when erect and my mind I know it has to heal… the doctor said they inflated it a bit for the 6weeks of healing but it’s only like 3.5 inches right now and still feels like a ton of pressure …. Does it have the ability to gain in size after healing and cycling starts?

I was a grower before my implant, so I personally know that flacid length has little to do with erect length. However, I've been told that I will no longer be a grower after my implant.

My doc fully inflated me for the 1st day after surgery and released me at 70%. There is not an extreme amount of pressure in my implant, it hangs at about 4 (vs 3) o'clock and I can bend it.

My pre-op erect length was 5.75" and my initial deflated length was 5" and, after some reduction in swelling, is now 4.5" which is about 76% of my pre-op length.

I'm not worried about it expanding/lengthening again upon full inflation and expect that, after I begin cycling as expected in less than a week, that my post-op erect length will be equal to pre-op erect length.

Unless there's something else you're not telling us, I don't believe that there's any reason for you to worry either.

I don’t think my Dr was very clear and so my post op pressure made me think this was all I was going to have and that I was going to be on the extreme end of shrinkage (when you don’t have a lot to begin with losing that battle too was putting me in an emotional state). Thanks for the feedback

Don't even think about size at this point in your recovery, the entire area around your penis and scrotum is swollen which really distorts the look of the length. Your swelling will go down over the next three to four weeks then you will see the length of your penis. To be worrying about length at this point is going to drive you crazy, don't do it.

To comment on what other are people are saying, don’t worry about the size right now man. Heck I’m only 4 weeks out and it’s wildly different than what I saw 4 days out. I was thinking “what is that shriveled little thing” and now im within like .5inch of my pre-op stretch test while erect (and probably not even pumped 100%)

I'm at 11 weeks today Coloplast Titan. I went through much craziness with self doubt over the size etc. I have to say that all that Dr Perito had promised me, he delivered. I was sending him constant texts(out of fear) and he told me to relax and cycle as recommended. I have a bit of added length and I'm surprised how girth has increased. After 3 years of not feeling like a man, those days are over. And honestly it's that much harder than before Prostrate Cancer so I really can't complain. I had issues cycling and both ways which led to much of my grief. Today its a piece of cake. You'll get there before you know it. Have fun!
