When flaccid, right cylinder is longer, left kinks more?

When flaccid, right cylinder is longer, left kinks more?

Postby ShouldIwait » Thu Mar 23, 2023 3:13 am

When flaccid, the tip of the right cylinder is longer. Feels like the left kinks up a bit more (can feel the kink at base of shaft). Is this normal?
At 30-40 % inflated both are same and no kink. Could go around like that but heard that was unhealthy long term for penis?

When fully pumped no issues. Nice and straight.

Yep. This, i think, is part of our “new normal”.

Most of us get the implant for maximum erections/sex and not maximum flaccidity.

I’ve got the same Titan krinkle at the base, not noticeable to anybody but me, unless they get a good feel. But, i keep just enough pumps in to smooth it out and create a nice package.

Also, when flaccid i can really feel good he cylinders in my shaft just under the glans. Able to wiggle them a bit. When hard they inflate and push into the glans and can’t feel them. But yeah, the new flaccid takes some getting used to. Overall, being a show-er now is one of the best parts.

I have a similar issue but likely more severe than what you are describing.
philtrip’s art work illustrates it perfectly here;
https://www.franktalk.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=21484&start=10

When flaccid, my RH cylinder is also longer. My RH distal tip stays completely tucked in the glans when fully inflated and when fully deflated. It feels like the RH tip has almost become one with the glans. The RH cylinder feels smooth along the whole length of the shaft even when deflated. No noticeable dog ears except at the base under the fat pad where it hinges to hang down. In other words, the RH cylinder behaves perfectly - I can’t imagine anything better.

My LH cylinder marches to a different drummer. It also hinges/ dog ears at the base but that’s where the similarities end. When deflated the LH tip is short of the glans about 1-1.5cm shorter than the RH tip. When deflated the LH cylinder feels rippled like alternating dents and bulges especially towards the distal end. When deflated there is a balloon like bulge where the hollow cylinder transitions into the solid distal tip. It’s said the retracting penis causes the Titan cylinders to crinkle or accordion back when flaccid. But in my case the RH cylinder is longer and supporting the flaccid. So it seems like the LH cylinder contracts and distorts on its own if there is no saline pressure to straighten it out. The LH cylinder feels and behaves completely different than the RH cylinder. I often wonder how a pair of supposedly matched cylinders can perform so differently.

The LH cylinder has been a source of pain and discomfort at both the distal & proximal ends since surgery. Also along the underside of the shaft towards the glans is frequently looks bruised and discolored. I complained about it when the sutures were removed but was told it will correct with cycling. It may have improved marginally but I think it’s mostly because my pain tolerance has improved.

Like the OP , when inflated my distal tips are the same length. The LH cylinder smooths out somewhat with partial inflation although still feels lumpy compared to the RH side. While the tips are equal in length when inflated, they are not equal vertically as illustrated in philtrip’s first sketch. When fully inflated the LH tip constantly drops low and pokes out below the glans. I can stretch the glans out (like the stretch flaccid test) and position it over the LH tip but with any motion the LH tip drops low down again.

I don’t know if it’s Coincidental or causal but, according to the surgery notes, the LH cylinder was installed and removed twice to be trimmed during the surgery. I have an appointment with the doctor in April to discuss options. I’m getting by but don’t want to live with this indefinitely. At almost 5 months I lost confidence this will self correct with more cycling. If anything, I feel like cycling will causing more damage because of the LH tip being low. When fully inflated the flesh there feels very thin like the tip could just pop through under the glans. I’m curious if anyone else has experienced a “lazy cylinder” when deflated or tip not staying seated in the glans.

FWIW, while I can feel the cylinders at the base when deflated, I do not notice any visible kinking there.
