Hard Flaccid Implant

Postby jason09 » Fri Jun 02, 2023 2:07 am

Morning guys,

Hope you are all well.

I have suffered from Hard Flaccid for 16 months.

Usual symptoms:

Soft glans
No morning wood
Weak narrow wobbly erections that require a lot of stimulation
Soft glans

I have tried the following:

Pelvic PT
Psychotherapy
Botox
Shockwave

Unfortunately nothing has helped and I am losing size from no erections so I have decided to get the implant.

My questions are the following:

Is an implant based on your erection size with injection?

I have reached out to Dr Djinovic about the implant and TEP as well as a Dr in the UK who performs the sliding procedure, what are peoples views on these methods?

Do you think I will be significantly undersized due to the nature of the HF condition?

Kind Regards

J

Hello I have suffered from HF/LF for over 3 years. It’s best you contact Dr.Clavell he has a lot of information about it. I would say your 16 months out try physical therapy and vacuum device every-night. Make sure you don’t hurt yourself. Im still way to early in my process to give any information about mine. But if you need to talk about HF/LF dm me your contact info and I can tell you what helped me. Thanks

Welcome to the forum, jason09. Sorry to hear of your troubles.

I wonder that oral medications are not among the remedies you listed as having tried. Nor injections.

"Unfortunately nothing has helped and I am losing size from no erections"

Lack of regular erections can, over a long period of time, cause size loss, but the prevention of that is simple. Using a VED (Vacuum Erection Device) therapeutically (not for sex, no constriction band) can substitute for those erections (usually nocturnal erections which appear often as morning erections).

"Is an implant based on your erection size with injection?"
No. A good surgeon measures the inside of your penis to determine the proper implant size. This happens during the surgery and the surgeon stretches your penis with the measuring tool quite energetically (watch a video of the implant operation - it is quite educational.)

"Do you think I will be significantly undersized due to the nature of the HF condition? "

Not if your surgeon is good. Selecting a good surgeon is a major task. I interviewed several before selecting mine. I may have passed up on a good one or two, but i wanted to be CERTAIN I found one I trusted and who took my needs into account and accepted me as part of my own mediical care team.

No, I don't think so. I read a few posts of guys with HF who got an implant and they were sized properly. Just make sure to pick a good surgeon and then that won't be an issue.

If it’s okay entourage I am going to send you a pm about HF sir. I believe I am a fellow sufferer in a unique situation and would love to talk to someone who has HF with an implant.

I used a VED pre-op therapeutically (not for sex) to maintain my penis' elasticity, oxygenation and size. I pumped up by estimation and overdid it a little bit a couple of times. I gave myself edema (fluid buildup under the skin) which abated by itself when I quite using the VED a few days. The edema looked much like a blister.

What I did with the VED was this: Pump up until my penis was just a little larger than my best natural erection and I felt a small amount of strain inside the erection. Much like my best natural erections of my youth. As I got more comfortable pumping up to greater degrees of erection, I measured my length (inside the clear VED cylinder) by marking on tape on the cylinder side. (I used clear adhesive tape so I would not make permanent marks on the cylinder.)

I found that my length was about 3/4" (2 cm or so) longer than my normal erections.

I got excited about the "gain". (The gain was transient; the vacuum pulls the penis forward and does not actually lengthen the penis by such large increments.) That excitement led to pumping up to 1" longer and a bit more. I WAS HUGE! inside the cylinder. Impressive. But when I released the vacuum, there was a sagging circle of skin on the shaft of my penis just behind the glans. No pain, but I was alarmed.

I consulted FrankTalk and another member identified my condition as edema and predicted that it would go away after a few days. It did. I also looked up edema and read up on it. There are many possible causes, over-vacuuming is one.

If you go further than producing temporary edema, you run the risk of more serious (and permanent) damage. I know nothing about those consequences and do not want to learn about them first-hand nor do I wish then on you.

So, pump up to your usual size and maybe a tiny bit more. Some tightness in your erection is OK (in my opinion) but do not pump up to the point of discomfort. Do not leave your vacuum on for more than 30 minutes (I actually advocate one minute, then release for a minute, and repeat 15 times for 30 minutes total). Do this twice a day, no more. Lay off if you see edema or broken capillaries (Telangiectasias) evidenced by redness under the skin.
